Nice little coffee shop, loved their decor and merch, as well as the drinks of course. Tried the hot chocolate, matcha and mocha, all were delicious. Also tried a coconut bar, and lemon cranberry muffin which was to die for. Highly recommended if you're in town.

Love it here! My chai was great and flavors were really balanced--not too sweet, not too chai. The work and hang out environment is really nice too. Three floors of tables and lounges and some of them have nice views. Server was super nice and fun too :)

Pour over was fantastic. Cold brews were also good. Look forward to trying the bag I bought. Friendly staff with a good vibe and space. Definitely worth the drive in the opposite direction of our plans.

BV is my favorite espresso/coffee joint in the area! Their strong and smooth espresso makes for a perfect ”flat white”, my drink of choice. Met Jules for the first time, she welcomed me, asked me how I preferred my drink be prepared (love the customization), and she provided, overall, exceptional customer service. Been here many times and they keep me coming back every time.

Sweetest Servers! They are patient and help you find a flavor that works for you. Great service and cute shop! Great view with table to study if your a student.

You cannot be in a rush when you go to Black Velvet. The baristas take their time to make each drink to order. They have a good variety of hot and cold beverages with your choice of dairy and non-dairy "milks". They also have amazing Belgian waffles.

When we come up to Mammoth I look forward to coming here almost as much as I look forward to skiing. This is my favorite coffee shop because the the coffee here has a complex flavor profile and is not bitter in the slightest. The homemade syrups are also awesome. In the evening they have a wine tasting that is quite good, and their seating is nice and relaxing.

I love this coffee shop. Great coffee and the barista there was so pleasant and helpful. I got the vanilla latte but asked if the espresso shot could be in a separate cup for me to taste prior to mixing. It was delicious. No bitterness or sourness in the 20 second shot. I liked it so much I came back the following day for a oatmilk honey latte!
Got a bag of coffee and will be going back when I'm in the area again for sure.

Terrible customer service. They served me a cold quiche and did not have it listed anywhere that it was served cold. A quiche has egg and cheese and meat and it should be specified how it is served. It was not even served room temperature, it was served cold and barely could put my fork through it. When I told the manager that it was too cold, she was beyond rude and awful. Did not offer me another item or a reimbursement and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It was also an $8.00 slice of quiche and the customer service was terrible. 10/10 do not recommend coming here. There’s way better coffee shops in mammoth with way nicer employees. Do not come here.

I used to love going in here every day to do some writing with my dog in the summer. Then they stopped allowing dogs. Then they raised the price of a double shot. Double shot of espresso is now $4. Good coffee for the people who can afford it..
