Grateful to have this charming cafe with vegan options. They even make homemade almond milk which you have to try! I love the chive and cheddar scone. Homemade lemonade rocks too! It is a bit pricey. Free wifi available! I will be coming back here more often and do my reading/studying and hiking!

The food was great. Strawberry Rhubarb pie was decent, but the biscuits & scones were excellent! It was a good spot to stop for some snacks to hold me over during an 8ish mile hike around Griffith Park!

That said, the line was unreasonably long during my visit. Spent about 30m just standing waiting to order. It would have taken longer, but 5-6 people ahead of me got fed up and left. There could definitely be some improvements made to their overall efficiency.

Really love this spot. Prices are a bit high and the lines can be long, but it's great to be able to relax outside at a table in Griffith Park either before or after a hike. The quality of the food and drinks is consistently high. The staff is friendly and the area is well maintained.

Love, love, love this place! Dog friendly with wonderful service, fantastic pastries, and gorgeous scenery! Such a gem and a staple of Griffith Park. Highly recommend the cheddar-chive buttermilk biscuit, lavender shortbread cookie, and strawberry lemonade.

Adorable little cafe with patio seating open from 8am-6pm. The type of place that keeps LA unique.
Well priced espresso bar (with Stumptown!) and really delicious lemonades. I wasn't terribly excited about the menu as there wasn't much gluten free stuff. Pie and quiche slices are about $6 which seems a bit expensive so I didn't get any. Cookies are $3, granola/fruit is $8. So...just too expensive I think and I wonder how many people are like me and don't buy because things are just slightly too expensive (except, most people probably are less cheap than me...)

I will say that everything looked and smelled delicious, (especially the avocado sandwich!) so if you're coming off a hike with some extra pocket change, get on it!

Fantastic location! Easy to get to. Great for a cup of coffee and a hike. Quiet. Casual. Hard to believe you're still surrounded by people when you get here. It's an oasis for a calm afternoon. Easy to spend the whole day just enjoying the environment. Parking was easy to find. Calm setting. A nice break from the rat race.

A great place to bust wide open the calorie deficit you created by hiking OR to refuel or top up from the energy you have already expended after a hike. Beautiful setting. Be aware that nothing separates you from the rest of Griffith Park. Coyotes are known to visit the cafe and immediate area. Do not leave your dog off leash or unattended while you patronize the cafe.

Delicious, freshly-prepared food, friendly to vegans and carnivores alike. MY favorites are grilled cheese and the lavender-vanilla cookies. The cookies are a religious experience. Always clean, often a line so choose an off-time to snack.

Amazing cute wonderful and lovely little hidden place in the forest below the Griffith Observatory. Such a great cafe to get away from the city and tune into the calm peaceful side of life/cafes. Love it there. Lots of Europeans!!

Had precious good experience, but the drip coffee today was awful! I’ll drink old coffee, gas station coffee etc if I need- not super picky. Today was the first time I threw the an entire cup in the trash. Yuck my stomach hurts :((((
