Probably the best decorated place around Los Altos, it feels like south of France and bit or Greece with the colors. The brunch food is good and is well served, juices are pretty nice as well and coffee is definitely on point. I would go back in a heartbeat to this place and enjoy their outdoor seating when the weather warms up. It might get packed soon !

My favorite go to place for a lazy brunch with friends. The outdoor patio feels lively and interiors are chic. You cannot go wrong with the lemon ricotta pancakes here. Oh and the burgers are also worth a try.

This place is delicious and quaint! Had the rainbow bowl and shared the lemon ricotta pancakes with friends, both were very good. Friendly staff and outside patio seating with a heater on was great since we had a dog with us. They are a little pricey, but have healthy options. I look forward to trying more things from here.

The food was good and healthy, yet pricey.
Seating is a challenge: we were lucky as we had reserved (new). Yet many tables around us remained empty for a long time and quite a few parties had been turned down in the mean time.

Outstanding ambiance and design. Creates such a relaxed vibe. Healthy plates(smaller than American breakfasts), the toast here is amazing! Thoughtful service and unique drinks. If this is how Australia is, I would move there.

Great ambience - very open and airy. Service was quick once we got seated but service was touch and go once the place started getting busy. It got harder to flag a person down to put in our orders and to pay the bill.
Aside from that, the food was great. We got the granola, a cookie and the latte flight of matcha, golden and beet. I highly recommend the latte flight which was surprisingly very good.

The interior and coffee were fine. I came here with my friend for a breakfast. First of all, coffee. It tasted nice, despite my flat white being a little bit too "fluffy". I liked the idea of serving a hot brew in a cute bottle, however, the bottle was so hot that it was almost impossible to hold it and pour into the cup. Also, I wish they put some descriptions for the coffee drinks in the menu (like they have on the website) - I have no idea what the "Magic" is and why a cappuccino, which was almost being served to me by mistake, had a thick layer of cocoa powder. Now food. We had eggs benedict ($16) and avocado smash ($14). Everything tasted okay, but the toasts in the both dishes were super crunchy and very hard to cut, hollandaise tasted more like mayonnaise and my side dish was barely lukewarm. When the waitress came to check on us I've asked her whether the potatoes are supposed to be cold (it's australian cafe, so who knows). She said: "No. Is it cold? I'm sorry" -- then she just left. I wish she could've offered me a replacement for my side dish. I know it looks like I'm trying to find more faults - but I think that wilted flowers shouldn't be on the dining table. I really liked the checkout process though - everyone has a little tablet so you can check out in 30 seconds.

Met friends for brunch without a reservation and they worked with us to get a table, and so glad they did! The food was beautiful and flavorful, and the decor crisp and bright.

Went opening day. Pretty well put together for their first day open. Had a cortado ("magic"). It was a bit "brighter" than I'd prefer in a perfect world, but overall very good.
I think the pastries are from Manresa - either way, they are pretty solid. Nice assortment of choices.
Staff was very friendly. I'd definitely return - this place is on my list of "good Bay area coffee" (Voyager, Chromatic, Living Room, 1oz, Alexander's, academic, B2 [RIP], etc).

I'm so delighted that Bluestone Lane have opened this cafe in Los Altos. As a party of 3 Aussies and 1 Kiwi, we had the best Saturday brunch I've had on this side of the equator.
It was busy but not unreasonable, and the staff are super friendly. The food was delicious, all our poached egg had perfectly runny yolks, the avocado was piled high, and the big breakkie was a plateful of nostalgia topped with American-style bacon.
This cafe brings the attention to detail and classic menu items of the quintessential Melbourne Cafe to Silicon Valley. I can't wait to keep coming back for more.
