Hilmar Cheese Company Visitor Center

Anytime im in town I always make it a point to stop by for a lunch! It never disappoints. Today I ate there pesto wrap 😋 . It was delicious and they also have great choices on cheese and really good cheese cake

Loved this place. Maybe because my cousin's dairy sends its milk here to be processed into cheese, but I don't think I have ever in my life been inside a visitor's center or any public place that was so clean!!! A nice lunch counter where you can buy lunch or snacks, farm memorabilia, jams, jellies, olives, spreads, kitchen gadgets, and there must have been at least 50 or 60 different cheeses. Have a video playing that showed their process of making cheese, and I loved the fact that they use everything and there is no waste. Great place to go for an afternoon picnic as the grounds were spectacular, with rolling grass, pond, waterfall, picnic ables and benches. 11 am tours in the Summer of the process of making ice cream.

Great off the path stop on a road trip.

Last week we brought 2 of our grandchildren here. We all had a wonderful time, enjoyed the tour, the samples, and our favorite, "making ice cream & eating it" 😋. We also stayed for the BarbQ lunch they provided. Everyone working there were friendly, helpful, and very courteous. Well recommend to all our family & friends.
Oh, yes, we bought some of their delicious cheese and a very delicious raspberry jam. 😋. Awesome place to take anyone👍🏼

Had lunch. Had a sandwich with a pear. Nice day, we ate outside in one of their patios. Then we shopped for cheese in their store. Good selection of cheeses. I believe they also give tours of the facility. Very relaxing place to eat., Sandwiches, salads, and ice cream. Recommend

The sandwiches were great, but just too many people to navigate the restaurant and gift shop. We thought we would be OK on a Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm, but boy were we wrong. Also not worth the long trip when they are not doing factory tours as they offer only during the summer months. We may go back next summer.

Squeaker samples are awesome, and plentiful and they don't.seem to mind if you eat a whole bunch, like 15 or 20. There is also a mini-museum upstairs which was very interesting. When I came back downstairs, there were other cheeses on the sampler trays so had some more.

The mushroom cheese my wife loves. Every time I go to hilmar dentist my wife has me stop for her cheese. Just wish the cheese was made in bigger pieces.

These people are one of the best to haul for out of California. You need to make sure that your trailer is washed out before you show up. This is s high grade food product and they are strict about dirty trailers and they are justified on doing so. They load promptly and you can scale out on site which is very cool. They are nice people and we need more shippers like them.
