Philz Coffee

This is my goto place to get coffee in Fremont. Location is great, central location to all of Fremont. With their ordering w mobile app, it makes queuing up to order and wait a breeze. Sometimes lunch time it make take them 35 minutes to make a cup but I think it’s worth the wait once you try their coffee. My favorite is Philtered Soul. There is so much rain this year, they even have to take out the sandbags.

Ordering online and picking up from this location was nearly seamless. The few recommendations I think need to be happen are: increasing the quantity of drinks that could be ordered online or provide a small explanation of why there is a limit to the customer. The other thing was of the four drinks I could order the consistency in operations was not quite there. One of the lids did not have a cap to prevent fluid leaking from the drinking hole and seemed odd when trying to understand what the reason was since one of those drinks were similar in order to another within the same order; only the size was different.

Other than that, the quality of the drink is done well. The barista was able to fulfill all the special instructions including off menu “secret” drinks when ordering online. 👌

Flies sitting on top of the food items, I regret ordering chocolate baba, spoke with manager (Lisa) she mentioned there is an issue and they are aware but the food items are all in the open with no cover.

I came here to specifically try the iced coffee rose. It was delicious! Super rose-y and floral. A bit sweeter than I would like but the drink tasted great overall. This shop also has a very good setup - people order and immediately leave until it's time for them to pick up the order. People are given time estimates (about 10 minutes) on a printout. People who order ahead can just walk in and pick up their drinks. One door to enter and one to exit. Minus 1 star because I asked for light ice and my cup was half ice.

I usually get a Tesoro but their latte drinks are great too. There is usually a couple spots we can find to sit around but walking around the area with a coffee in hand is good too.

While you are there, pick up some philharmonic beans or ground for a great coffee at home! They also have a great hot sauce that supports the fire department!!
They have great pour over set up and you can grab some pastries with your coffee too.
I would recommend the medium roasts at Philz especially if you don’t like milk and sugar in your coffee.
I have used the app to cut the waiting time too and that works great as well!

Coffee lovers unite! Philz is so much better than larger chain coffee bars that you'll wonder why you ever went to those!!! Every barista is very friendly and your drink is always crafted with love just for you. Don't pass by. Stop on and find out how great coffee can be!

Of course, I love this place. I don’t know if I can live without my Philtered Soul. If you’re into the hazelnut and chocolate flavor, you have to get this drink without any milk to really taste the quality of the coffee.

Tried Philz Coffee in Fremont today. Flavorful Iced Coffee Rose along with Avocado Cucumber toast. Yummmmm! Such a unique menu. Friendly and energetic youngsters behind the counter. Great service! Hooked onto this place now. Will surely keep on visiting.

I ordered Philz Soul. Sooo good. I ordered light cream with no sweetener. The coffee was very fresh and had a great taste. Great spot to sit and work or talk to a friend. I will return next time I am in Fremont, California.

One of my go-to coffee places, I can sit here all day, enjoy the vibe and energy of this place all the time. It is crowded and that tells a lot about the amazing coffee and energy of this place.
