The menu is short but with many interesting and varied choises sandwiches salads and of course coffee and tea and cold drinks as well. The BLTA was delicious .lettuce tomato and plenty of avocado on really good toasted bread with extra delicious bacon and to top it off the garlic mayonnaise made it one of the best BLT s I have ever enjoyed and I love BLT s more than any burger ever! Ok so much for savory. How about a peach sliced thin on an open faced sandwich slathered with honey oh mama sweet dreams are made of this! Both were enjoyed at an al fresco table under the transparent and black steel peaked roof of a semi enclosed structure in the backyard . Made me want to come back on a rainy day to see if I d love this space as much sheltered from the grey and wet as much as I did from the sun and blue sky! I'll definitely be returning here often.

This place is really cute and in a prime location, just off Shattuck, making it feel like a pleasantly tucked away space. The back patio is wonderful and spacious, the fried egg I had here was cooked perfectly, and I enjoy taking a bag of coffee home from this place on occasion.
I only wish they had Chai for those moments when you want something other. I also wish more if their staff was friendly, rather than walking away in the middle of a transaction and hardly greeting me upon entering.

I've come here one too many times and today will be my last. They are overpriced, their coffee is expensive (like San Francisco prices) and their food isn't that good. The final straw was today when we were asked to move tables. I wasn't too keen because it was out of the shaded table I specifically chose. Instead of the waitress reading my hesitancy and telling us not to worry about it - the waitress insisted that the new spot didn't have sun. Low and behold: my face is so burnt now and I have a temperature from heat stroke. Rude and unacceptable behavior!! First come, first serve - no you shouldn't be asking customers to move tables for you to accommodate others who have just arrived - absolutely preposterous.

Cafenated is located in a food-forward part of town and makes a great addition to the Gourmet Ghetto. The back patio area is spectacular, quiet, lush with gardens, and off the street so there's few distractions. This makes it a great spot to bring a computer and get some work done; unfortunately this means its almost always tough to find a seat, with a lot of folks getting a cup of coffee and sitting down at a table for more than a few hours. Still, if you're able to nab a spot, it's peaceful and enjoyable.

The coffee has great taste and is somewhat above par of the other roasters in the area and competitively priced. The times I've gone for espresso, however, it's been a bit on the over-roasted or burned side. Pastries always looks great in the box at the front and I can't wait to try their brunches.

I used the wifi here last weekend and and now every time I open my web browser on my iphone, something forces an automatic redirect to this shop's Facebook page! Please, this is like malware! I can't make it stop. I've tried clearing my cookies, but to no avail. Please help -- and please stop installing malware on people's phones for using your wifi.

I will not be going to this place again. The appeal of this coffee shop is the outdoor patio and the main reason why I would go to this coffee shop. They have now changed this so that only individuals doing brunch are allowed to sit on the patio. If you plan to just get a coffee and hang out on the patio you will be met by snooty servers that roll their eyes at you and ask you to leave the area.

The coffee is good and back garden is a wonderful place to sit and talk with a friend. Almond pastry is my favorite.

Wish there was a vegan food option and an alternative milk that isn’t oat milk - it tastes bad in anything that requires more than a splash.

We’ve been here about a six or so times now, coffee is good and the ambiance is nice. Today we grabbed some food from another restaurant and then wanted to grab a coffee from Cafenated. There was about a 15 minute wait to get coffee and then we sat outside in their outdoor seating in front. We were the only people outside enjoying a late lunch at 3 pm. After a couple minutes one of the staff came out and told us to leave, no outside food allowed. Understandable, but between the unsympathetic demand, that there was no one outside that was in need of a table, and that we were paying customers the whole experience was very off-putting. Won’t be returning.
