Cafenated Coffee Company

Coffee is pretty good as are the small selection of available pastries. The major attraction of Cafenated is their sweet back patio, which is covered by a large, clear awning and decorated tastefully with plants and hanging planters. It is almost always packed though, and it can be hard to nab a seat. A lot of patrons like to work back there, so they will bring their laptops and camp out for hours and give you dirty looks if you talk too loudly in their presence.

Good Sencha hot tea... but for $5 they at least should include a cat picture on the cup! 🙄

This is my go-to neighborhood coffee place.

Lately it's been cold and they have a lovely fire pit in the back patio.

Excellent coffee and pastries. Lots of outdoor seating. Clean modern style. Great for groups great for studying.

Busy cafe featuring "farm-to-cup" coffee and a nice selection of teas, along with fresh pastries from Starter Bakery. Fresh decor and lively ambiance. The outdoor garden seating in back is wonderful, with heaters overhead and shelter from rain. As a tea drinker, I appreciate the care and attention they give to preparing and serving tea -- definitely a couple of steps above the perfunctory treatment of tea you find at most coffee-oriented cafes.

Feta quiche is perfect. Patio is great but near impossible to use as groups of students seem to sit at tables with laptops for the whole day.
Staff seem very demoralized and behave as if they are doing customers a favor. This was the attitude at the previous business here, tomato heirloom and it went down. I finished my quiche and waited another ten minutes for the coffee and after I asked for it another long inconsiderate wait and finally given my coffee without a single apology and as if they are now doing me a favor. If it weren’t the only place to sit and have light food and coffee their inconsiderate service would bring this one down too.

Beautiful setting outside in the back garden. Peaceful, despite the number of people.

TONS OF SPACE, coffee is middle of the road but I've only had the cold brew. Hopefully the other coffee is a little better. Nicely crafted space, tons of great natural light

I was excited to try this place out, especially their coffee. I got an iced latte with oat milk. The espresso tasted burned, the drink was watery and grain-y, there was coffee grounds accumulated at the bottom of the drink. I asked the counter server if I could exchange my drink to an iced matcha instead. They said yes, I got my food and was done by the time my partner went to ask what the status of the matcha was. The barista didn’t know about the exchange and was shocked that we didn’t like the espresso drink. When the matcha finally got to me, it tasted mostly of water and also had lumps of matcha that hadn’t been whisked properly before pouring the oat milk. Overall, I was very disappointed, waited for a long time and ended up paying for a beverage that I didn’t even drink because of how bad it tasted.
