Overpriced and no gluten free options. I'm down to pay for an overpriced sandwich or pastry if I'm in Berkeley. I expect it. But you aren't even a bakery, so there's nothing stopping you for ordering gluten free options from the bakery that supplies you

The BLTA is not ok. I got one piece of bacon cut up 4 ways and spread out way too thinly for a sandwich of this size (which is about a medium). There was also barely any mayo added and the avo was totally skimped on. It’s a $16 sandwich with tax. Ridiculous.

Disappointed. My two stars are because of the outside patio and the mission; but that stop there. Aside from the beautiful space and the gorgeous well-decorated outdoor, ideal for an afternoon stop to read a book or do some work, I was very disappointed by the very expensive yet flavorless drinks.

My first drink was a 煎茶 (sencha). While it's your to make, the amount of leaves was insufficient for the ratio of water. I wanted to give this place another try before calling it a day and ordered an iced matcha, which is a flavorful tea.

The matcha (薄茶?) was made from concentrate (Tannor's tea), and this ended up being green milk (you can't taste the matcha at all). Price tag for this was $5+. My friend had the coffee, which tasted off (far too bitter and acidic to be enjoyable on its own).

The back patio has great ambiance and food is of decent quality. However, it’s waaaay over priced.

A side of fried egg is $5. Yes. One, single, sunny-side up egg that’s nothing special.

One visit is enough for me.

Friendly service with a beautiful outdoor patio in the back and a few tables out front. Oatly milk cappuccino was great! & how can you jot adore their logo!? ^_^

This place is fantastic! The garden in the back is amazing! It’s got such a good vibe! Customer service was fantastic and the coffee was the best!!! Latte is a must try! 👌🏻

Very nice open air garden with an avocado tree. It has been a touchstone for my recovery from seizures as I had my first one walking their with my wife. It’s peaceful atmosphere and delicious coffee. They’ll have to wait a moment on their planned franchises but they’ll get there. A great Berkeley institution.

Super espresso drinks in a chill neighborhood and place. Tasty breakfasts and bakery items.

Delicious espresso drinks, with all the oat milk and other alternative milk options you could want, with a ton of single-source beans from women-owned farms, and a bunch of tasty snack and cafe food plates.

But, even more than all that (which would already make it my favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood), it has an amazing outdoor courtyard! Tons of plants and greenery and seating in all kinds of fun chairs. People seem to actually still go with their computers and set up for a while there.

Oh, and they installed some fancy espresso machines that sit underneath the counter, so the baristas aren’t blocked by the huge machines, and can see and chat with the customers while pulling shots. Plus, the machines are pretty.

One of the coolest Coffee shops in Berkeley. The coffee shop has a beautiful backyard garden with edible vegetables and fruits. The coffee shop has some of the coolest coffee machines for precise coffee brewing. Espressos are premium quality.
