Infinitely preferable over Starbucks with a diverse menu, the high size and quality of options to sit and enjoy yourself, and a great Wi-Fi network. Other businesses should take note of this and upgrade their dismal excuses for Wi-Fi Networks...I've gone here more than once for a coffee just because I was out and about, needed a decent Wi-Fi connection, as well as not finding the nearby Starbucks an attractive candidate thanks to their claustrophobic seating area and congested parking lot.

Stopped by while driving through Bakersfield on a road trip. Worth it. Wonderfully accommodating staff, very reasonably priced menu, and overall great 'local watering hole' atmosphere.

Had an early morning meeting down the street from here. Stopped in for breakfast, had the coffee and the bagel, ham and cheese. Really really good, both coffee and the sandwich. The bagels seemed close to have been crossed with a croissant.

This place is almost exactly halfway between Boulder City/Henderson and the Bay Area, and between Hwy 58 and 99 or 5 so we enjoy stopping here before transitioning to the next phase of our drive. I can't believe BAKERSFIELD has its own "Arts District" and hipster coffeehouse bakery - named after an Ayn Rand heroine at that! The baristas always get our orders right. There isn't anything similar near us.

In from Seattle area was looking for good coffee. Most the locals tried to send me to Starbucks :-p Lucky for me met a nice lady at the hospital that knows great coffee. If you're jonesing for great coffee prepared by craftspeople ,this is your place.
