Amazing!! The food was so flavorful and even though the restaurant was pretty full we still received our food really fast! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. Got the mushroom burger and split it with a friend for half of their Turkey Club sandwich. Price was very good for what we ordered. Milkshakes were delicious too.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Wonderful atmosphere, our server was great, and the food came out so fast! We ordered the onion rings and cauliflower to share, then the BBQ Chicken Salad, Original Burger, and Cali Chicken Sandwich! Everything was delicious, especially the onion rings! And for dessert we shared the Cookie Monster amongst the 3 of us, and we enjoyed it very much! We will be returning soon!! :)

Had an awesome lunch here while on our drive back to Fresno from San Diego. Had never stopped in Downtown Bakersfield before and there is a lot more to see and do than I thought! The 18hundred is a gem! We were greeted and seated quickly. The menu is great and I enjoyed the lunch time special of sandwich and delicious chicken noodle soup--perfect lunch portion enjoyed with a great craft beer. The grilled cheese sandwich was perfect. Great beers on tap and a beautiful bar. Love all the decor elements, murals, the bathroom was nice as well. Definitely make the stop in Bakersfield when traveling to LA and beyond and you won't be disappointed.

First time here. The hostess and waitress were awesome. Needed a table for six at around 5:30pm ready in about 10 minutes. Drinks were of high quality, food was prepared to liking. Would definitely go back.

We had our brunch. I had egg n bacon croissant sandwich and my wife a sweet potato bowl. Both down very well. Lots of flavor and filling. Bottle of sparkling wine for a reasonable price. Good ambiance with friendly service. Will definitely come back.

Absolutely nothing negative to say. The atmosphere was nice modern and restrooms were clean. I had the turkey burger with side salad and a side of zucchini fries. The burger was tasty, the salad was fresh with a very good house-made vinaigrette, and zucchini fries were just what the doctor ordered and was enough to share with another person. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came quickly. What more could you ask for?

First time here. We tried the Bako Burger and the BBQ Burger, they came with a side salad topped with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Both were very good. For some reason our burgers got kinda soggy really quick, still very good though. We ordered some fries on the side. They were freshly made and seasoned. We would definitely eat there again.

Had a excellent lunch with a friend today. Waitress Mia, deserves praise, very kind, and helpful explaining her favorites on the menu.
I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, comes with a salad, choice of dressing. It was big and delicious. Only ate half, took the rest home.
My friend ordered the pastrami sandwich melt. He said it was very good.
They have several specialty cocktails 🍸 and wonderful looking milkshakes.
They were semi-busy for lunch. I was immediately greeted and sat. We had lunch and we’re walking out in less than an hour. We will be back.

We went on a Tuesday evening on a whim, and had an okay experience.
Though the restaurant was mostly empty, we had to wait an oddly long time to be seated and have our order taken.
The food was generally good. The meat on the burger was terrible though - dry, tough, and unseasoned. Other than that, everything else was good. The salad was very good!
The atmosphere was relaxing, but it was very cold in the restaurant... Almost as cold as outside.
I'd like to try The 18hundred again sometime, probably when it warms up.

I have ridden past The 18 Hundred so many times. I wish I had stopped before.
The atmosphere of the place is perfect. Indoors is very small, but they do have outdoor seating. If it were any bigger inside it would ruin the ambiance of the place.
I ordered the Pastrami Burger, Side Salad and Hand Battered Onion Rings.
First the Onion Rings. They are super crunchy like they should be, but they are reddish orange. What in the world is going on? I had to ask. They mix the coating with a special type of paprika. That is why they are that color. I am so glad they do. The flavor is tremendous.
Next the Salad. The lettuce is crisp and the tomatoes are sweet, tangy and juicy. That goes great with the vinegar dressing.
Finally the Pastrami Burger. Absolutely wonderful.
Nice and hot, juice ran down my arm, dripped off my chin, and got all over the place. PERFECT!
Just what I needed. As the slogan for another place used to say 'if it don't get all over the place, it don't belong in your face.' So true here.

I highly recommend The 18 Hundred to EVERYONE! The place is epic.

My entire meal only cost $21 so prices are fare. Go to The 18 Hundred. You will love it.

I had the Spicy Jack Burger. Melt in your mouth good.

The fries were hot and crispy, but I kept dropping them.

My favorite was the biscuit and gravy. Had to try it even though it didn't really go with the burger. God it was good.
