Been a long time Customer off and on from the beginning. Ideally that beautiful outdoor East side would become non smoking. The shade is primo there. The second hand smoke? Not so much. Overall atmosphere of the place is great.

Dagny's is a great eclectic place. Good coffee, baked goods, very friendly atmosphere. They also serve beer. A nice break from the chain coffee shop locations. Good smoothies too.

I'm always a fan of Dagnys. Parking is not always easy if you get there after 9am, but it's worth a couple turns around the block.
Their food is pretty good and the coffee is on point with a lot of different options. The staff is never very engaging with conversation which is sometimes off-putting, but that's not a huge concern.
If you sit outside, be prepared for some of the local homeless to stop by your table. The internet can also get super slow during peak hours. If you want to get work done, I recommend getting in early morning. Primo seating, little noise, and super fast internet. After 10am it's pretty packed inside.
All and all this spot is reminiscent of a coffee house in its mid 90s glory. It really has a sense of comfort. If you're tired of mass chains with no real personality, then Dagneys is definitely a must.

I frequent Dagny's because I'm a nursing student and need a good place to study. It's a little noisy, but overall it's not too bad. They have plenty of chargers, Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. The only downside is the homeless problem due to being located downtown- they tend to be aggressive if you don't give them money I reccomend carrying a mace can just to be protected. A couple of them are pretty chill though.

This place has some bomb coffee and it's really chill to hang. There's plenty of places to charge your electronic devices, board games to play while you drink your amazing coffee, and beer on tap. Forget Starbucks, drink here instead.

Make Sure they don’t do your order to go. Went everyday for a couple weeks with a friend and our totals were always different for ordering the same thing. Turns out they just hit whatever on the register. When we confronted them they didn’t seem to care and were aware it happens and explained that was why. I’m aware this to go tax thing is in LA and the Bay Area but is it even legal in Kern county? Their has to be some agency that checks on these taxes they could be skimming off the top

This was my first time here as I am just passing through town. It was a nice place to sit and enjoy my coffee, it was bustling with life. The crew working were so polite and helpful.
