Arizona Cafe

Different dinner plates use to be really good, but now it's as though you get water down beans, chorizo & eggs look like a light pink color ,I guess they are always low on chorizo,
Not my favorite spot anymore,'Viva 'La'Cabana'! : )

The food is excellent and every single server I have ever encountered has been pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu and the history of the cafe. It has some history and an interesting vibe. I've seen locals there and people who have come from out of town, including those wh have tracked it down off of some review site. Those are the ones who leave with t-shirts and mugs lol.

My family and I always come here when we are feeling under the weather. The food is very good and always makes us feel better. Never been disappointed. Staff is helpful too

Has been a Favorite spot of the locals for many years, in the heart of Old Town Kern in East Bakersfield on Baker Street, sometimes hard to find a parking space. Authentic Mexican food, Caldos, chicken or beef soup, menudo and all the classic Mexican menu items. They didn't have guacamole at this visit. Small, cozy spot. Friendly, warm ppl. Great service even when packed!

The menudo, chili verde, papas con choritzo & the wet burrito are the best! Chips are always brought to you warm & salsa for chips has just enough hotness to it. Waiters & waitresses are always pleasant. We love the Arizona Cafe.

I love the Chile Verdi even though it has red sauce. I usually order 2 ala carte ones w/rice and beans inside instead of a combo plate.

Hand's down my favorite Mexican restaurant most of the time I get the albondigas but also like the chile verde chicken soup and beef soup.
If you are looking for traditional style Mexican food the Arizona Cafe is the place to go.

Even though we had fast friendly service, does that really matter when it comes to the best authentic food in Bakersfield!!! ??? Food is amazing, staff is amazing. We do not mind the 15 Mile drive to get here!
