My boyfriend absolutely loves the chili verde every time I've ever suggested going here he has never turned it down... best food around!
The staff is great too :)
My only complaint would be they close at 2 p.m.

I ate here over 30 years ago, when my mom was living in Bakersfield. I wanted the hottest, most authentic Mexican food available and Arizona Cafe was where they took me. I wasn't disappointed! I'm so glad that you're still in business! If I ever get out there again, you can bet I'll be eating Chili Verde again!

Born and raised in Bakersfield and this is my family's go to spot when we come back home. Always get love shown by the staff. And the food I real authentic Mexican food. This is a must if you haven't tried it already.

They have one of the best rice recipes I have ever eaten. Great place to eat at, the people have great ethnic skills. Pretty busy sometimes but other than that it's one of the top places I would recommend eating at.

I asked for spicy chilaquiles and its like i told them to not put any spice to them.. their chilaquiles are chips with jack cheese on them, maybe 1 egg mixed in. I guess they dont put any type os sauce on them.. just call them nachos then.

I got the Machaca (beef and eggs sauteed with tomato, jalapeños, and onion) server brought their infamous chili verde salsa which I drenched all over my machaca. Reminded me of home 🤤 served with beans, rice and tortillas de maiz. My boo thang got the chili verde and chilaquiles come with a side of rice and beans but am sure it can be substituted for something else. When we have the $ we def. splurge here for brunch.
