We put our names on the “list” and waited for 45min. So then we looked at the “list” and seen it was a different list. So don’t waste your time going over there.

Okay, okay, I should not have started chowing down for breakfast before taking the picture but I WAS HUNGRY! The best chile verde in town but you do have to work a bit for it. The chile verde is the tastiest without being flaming burn-out spicy hot. The meat is on pork riblets so one must use a spoon to separate the meat from the bone. It is an easy and beneficial task. My wife's breakfast torta turned out to be an excellent choice. When I think of a torta, I think of some sort of bread as the base. This base were a couple of eggs with onions mixed in topped with chile verde, excellent! The location might scare some on Baker Street. Not to fear unless you plan on stumbling around after hours after drinking too many cerveza.

I have been going here for as long as I can remember with my parents. The food is always amazing my favorite dish is abondigas. They have been open for years and don't listen to the negative comments. You can't be open for that long and be bad.

Food is good but it's pricey.

Arizona Cafe is a great place. Parking can be hard, but well worth ìt for the food.

The Chile Verde is awesome here. They leave the bone in which gives it that extra delicious taste. The refried beans are also very tasty, however they are cooked with lard and my arteries wave a white flag. The rice Is very good and I don't know if the lady's in the kitchen are making the tortillas from scratch but they sure taste Iike they are. You have to check this place out. An old school Baker Street business, I hope its around for several more years as it's a valued Bakersfield Native.

Great Food! They have excellent service, and quality food. The staff is nice and friendly. Food may sometimes take a while to come out but it is understandable because their always busy with mobile orders and inside orders. Though I wish they would stay open a little bit longer instead of closing at 2pm.
But I would recommend anyone to go here. Best food I have had.

The food was great and obviously prepared using traditional ingredients and methods! Got the Chile Verde burrito which was spectacular! Sauce personally could have had more heat but would be great for everyone. This is not a negative, I saw it as a point towards authenticity, but a fair warning, there may be bones in your Chile Verde. Highly recommend!
Arizona Cafe is a local staple so plan some extra time to accommodate how busy it usually is. Will be back soon.
