Extremely cozy atmosphere and the friendliest staff. The coffee is cheap and delicious and the flavor is only amplified by the homey lodge feel of the cafe. It is cash only so be prepared for that!

A unique place, the sauna and hot tubs are top notch and my mate and I love sitting and chilling by the pond outside. Love their homemade whipped cream too!!

The best place ever to go and have a cup of something, a snack, play a game of chess, sit by the fire, pet the kitty (Leonard), go hot tubbing or to the sauna. It’s one of the main reasons I moved back to Humboldt, no joke. There are not many retreats like this in the world, unless you live in some amazing European country that values design and experience... book a day in advance and in person! They are very busy. When are y’all gonna expand anyway?? Lol

The hottubs are so nice.

Finnish style, it's a very quaint and cozy coffee house with hot tubs. Charm, privacy and relaxation await in partitioned tubbing areas. Each area has a changing room, and shower. The tubs are wooden and deep. Offering relaxation and therapeutic warmth. Jets provide invigorating massage. Beverages from the cafe maybe enjoyed while soaking. Times offered of a half hour or hour rentals are convenient. Staff is friendly and courteous. They are skilled in making coffee drinks. A place that must be experienced while spending time in Arcata. It is one of the most twee spots in Arcata.

My absolute favorite place in town. No wifi, so it is a place of relaxation, a place to put away technology. Amazing hot chocolate. The gardens and the tubs are a must, especially in the winter months.

Cafe Mokka has been an Arcata favorite for decades. Behind the cafe, hot tub and sauna cabins surround a frog pond. The hot tubs are outdoors within privately fenced enclosures beneath the canopy of an "enchanted forest." The cafe resembles a cottage from Finland and has a cozy seating area with a fireplace. There is often live acoustic music on the weekends in the evening. The coffee, hot chocolate, and mochas are always delicious. Both the coffee and the hot tubs are very reasonably priced.

Beautiful place! Must check out this place if you are in Arcata and try the sauna lodges. This gem is very affordable and cool at the same time. Great for travelers that are looking to relax within a low budget.

This place is one of Arcatas best treasures... I HIGHLY recommend you make a stop by this place after a long day of playing along the Redwood coast :)
