Finnish Country Sauna & Tubs

We walked up without a reservation and were thankfully able to snag a remaining half hour slot from someone who didn't show up, I would recommend making an appointment though because they appeared to be completely booked and we just happened to get lucky. They explain how the hot tub is connected to a changing room and how much time you get in each place before sending you off. We really enjoyed how quiet and private the area was and found that a half hour was plenty of time considering how hot the water was.

What a spectacular place!!! I’m from out of state and really wanted to soak here, so I made reservations. Due to visiting family in the area, I was late for my appointment. The staff was amazing and allowed me to still soak due to a cancellation. The tubs are very clean and well-maintained; the jets felt heavenly. The grounds with a pond and moss-covered sauna rooms were very picturesque, and it was fabulous to have a cold, refreshing Italian soda there at the coffee shop on-site. Would highly recommend this establishment!

Great place to relax and enjoy some quiet serenity. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent espresso and drinks. Makes for a good anniversary or birthday gift as well.

Been going to the hot tubs since my kids were about 7 or 8 years old maybe younger and are now 14 and 17. Every time it's a beautiful EXPERIENCE all around. A must-do when in Humboldt County and in Arcata.

Cute cafe and sauna. I just stopped by to get a drink and check out the place for another visit. Call for reservations. Very relaxing place to unwind. Nice staff.

I love this place. It's hard to get a reservation on Friday or Saturday nights. Which is fine, just got to plan ahead. The food and coffee are the best. They really contribute to the local culture.

My partner and I have gone to this place a few times now, it’s great! Very simple and straightforward.. the only bummer was last time we went the tub was WAYYY TOO HOT!! 🥵 we had to keep getting out and back in after awhile.

We should have said something, but I felt like they wouldn’t have done anything about it anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️ if you’re reading this, can you make sure they’re all the same temperature? That tub was crazy hot…

This is an icon of Arcata. The saunas are well cared for and maintained impeccably. However, the showers in the sauna are from on demand water heaters, so don't be thinking you are gonna get a long long hot one. It takes about 120 seconds for the hot water to make it. Cut in the cold water slowly.

My favorite place to relax. Great atmosphere and it's really worth the 20$ a hour. Never had bad experience yet. Thanks guys staying open 😁

Private outdoor hot tubs with a cozy little cafe environment. Vegan drink options available and you can bring a drink to your hot tub. Payment is per person. You choose between a 30 or 60 minute reservation, which includes the time you need to change and shower before getting into your tub. Towels can be borrowed for a small fee. You also get 30 minutes after your reservation in your changing room, but keep in mind that the changing rooms are best sized for 2 adults and are not heated. Tubs fit 4 adults comfortably.
