This cafe was my regular coffee stop for this past summer. The coffee is good and I enjoyed that they often had vegan pastries. The atmosphere is super chill and fits right in with Seward.

Best meal experience we had in Alaska- the food, the people, and the atmosphere. Our Miso Black Cod was cooked to perfection- tender, flaky, and shiny smooth. Perfect rice, sauce and sautéed vegetables accompanied it. The plating was also lovely. Everything was well seasoned and and portions were generous.
Staff is super pleasant helping to choose a perfect sake, wine, and beer for our table. Desserts were delicious and made of a high quality chocolate, creamy ice cream, and shareable.
The room is fun! Casual Alaskan style yet could be celebratory at the same time.
Love the gift shop and decor - unexpected treasures with mermaids, sage sticks, essential oils, jewelry and much more.
We want to go back for coffee in the morning.
Thank you!

Love this place!!! I love all the little things you can buy and the decor is amazing. Definitely has a chill vibe!
Our service was a tad slow, but that was no problem for us as we were not in a rush. I think with a bit more staff this place will be an amazing stop for anyone looking for delicious food.

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and a lot more going on here than you would think from the outside. Baked goods are top-notch.
Worth stopping by; however menu is in constant flux. Don't be surprised if the waiter is confused about what is available. Or if the food comes out looking slightly different than described.

I want to give this place a 5 star, review. I really do. Unfortunately, I have been a bit bummed out the last 2 times that I went there for a bite.
Pros: It has an awesome environment. The shop connected to it has lots of neat things available, there is a really nice outside area out back and big garage style doors to make everything really open in the summers, the food is delicious and there are some creative dishes, and finally it has some appetizing specials that come up.
Cons: For me, the biggest drawback is the lack of a website outside of Facebook. Menu photos say “Breakfast served till[sic] 3pm” but when I went with my family, I was informed that breakfast ended at 11:00am. I love to browse the menu and plan on what I want to order before going to places when possible and I got my hopes up showing up a little before 11:30am only to be told that they no longer had breakfast. That would’ve been alright, but we were then told to go upstairs to the restaurant seating area to order food to-go, which was different from my prior experience. We opted to go for the last remaining spam masubis, which were tasty, but we were hoping to get more. Other than that, it’s pretty pricey, even by Seward standards. Although tasty, it’s a bit of a splurge to eat (from) there since their entrees average around $18 give or take. Also, the parking is a bit cramped/sparse.
Overall, I like this place a lot. I want to love it, but I’ve been let down a few too many times by the lack of clear information (website/menu/hours) and the high cost. It is a cool environment and you’re paying for the atmosphere, staff, and uniqueness of the dishes, however, it does have the potential to improve with a few tweaks. All in all, worth checking out!

Excellent place to be with family, downstairs is a cafe and boutique shop, upstairs is a brewery with beer and good food.

The food was unique and tasty. I had the breakfast merbabe and it was like a delicious breakfast potpie. The building was new and clean. I liked the special detail of the seashell on the toothpick.

Cute boutique and some healthy options for breakfast at the café. Go check out the fun mermaid decor upstairs.
