Dark Horse is fantastic. Incredibly friendly baristas who quickly learn your name and drink of choice. Great brekkie items like quiche and breakfast burritos. Sometimes a bit of a wait during busy times but no one in line cares. It's worth it.

Great atmosphere, extremely nice staff., and amazing Mocha.

These people are the singlemost reason that I miss Anchorage. Their shop is beautiful, they have a wonderfull selection of quiche and other baked goods, they have fantastic chocolate-covered coffee beans, and their coffee itself is like a punch straight in the taste buds. In a good way. In the winter, there's nothing better than a steaming cup of coffee to warm your hands and throat, and in the summer the cold brew coffee they make here (which is 100 times better than that Starbucks crap, by the way) can keep you cool and caffinated at the same time. Needless to say, I absolutely have to go here anytime I'm in Anchorage.

The gals behind the counter are always so nice and make the yummiest drinks. Go say hello and get a nice warm coffee! I appreciate all the distancing measures they have taken this year.

Brilliant, full bodied coffee that is as good as a full meal.

Oatmeal and coffee are hard to beat but I've had to edit my five stars.. I've seen one of the servers be more than a little rude with customers and one colleague on more than one occasion now. It's a shame because the places simplicity is its drawcard.

I love a great cup of coffee! And this place has it! Good sandwiches too! Located in the heart of Anchorage in the same building as Alaska's Gourmet Subs.

Cozy indoors with fantastic coffee and chai along with friendly and just overall marvelous baristas. Can get crowded at peak times, but people seem to cycle through fairly quickly. Best coffee shop in Anchorage!

They let their regulars jump ahead of you when they’re super busy. So that’s fun. Otherwise the coffee is good and the employees are sweet.

Food was great and so was the coffee. Nice cozy place to hang out. I would definitely recommend. Its usually crowded.
