Huddle House

The worst experience. The first time we came here we were greeted by the hostess who let us know real quick that there were “no clean tables”. There were empty tables everywhere, but nobody bothering to clean them. After waiting for 20 minutes she informed everyone that they were not taking any more orders at the moment. What a waste of time. The worst huddle house I’ve ever been to.

Don't eat here service is horrible and the food is too don't waste your money

I was in demopolis visiting and placed a online order but when I arrived at the restaurant, it wasn’t open. During normal business hours, no signs posted on anything. The restaurant then took my money knowing it wasn’t open for me to receive my order. The number they have listed may as well be out of service. You never get a answer and if you leave any voicemails, they won’t be responded to either. Definitely won’t be ordering here again. Very poor management.

Decent food, but they are always out of something, usually grits. Employees act as if they hate their job

I had to wait a long time to order, and a long time to receive my food. Employees in the kitchen didn’t wash hands after walking in from outside. The food is okay.

Ordered online. Got there and called 3 times for curbside pickup. No answer. After 3 attempts at getting my $50 order right I left with it still wrong.

I usually have nothing bad to say about the Huddle House restaurant, it has always been our go to place but this one was absolutely awful and we will never go there again!! (Demopolis Alabama)
To start with my husband and I were in town for our daughter's wedding. We went in for a quick fresh breakfast then off to decorate.
We walked in found a seat and waited for a waitress. Mean while they were chatting and laughing in the corner .It was apparent they were ignoring us for some reason. Finally after ten minutes one of them come over and took our drink order. Our drinks came five minutes later, coffee and a soft drink. They never refilled our cups the whole time we were there, they didn't even look in our direction.
Fifteen minutes later we are still waiting. I waved to one of the ladies and said, "we are ready to order now, please". She came over with much rudeness, took our order and left us.. At this point we are the only customers in the restaurant and have been for a while. We could see the stove from where we are sitting and no one was cooking. The lady cook, was leaning on a stool looking at her phone and the waitress's were still involved in a conversation in the corner. The cook noticed we were looking in her direction to see how our breakfast was coming along and then she said very rudely to us, " is there something you need?!!"
When we said. " yes, our food!" Then, angrily and full of spite she grabs her blue gloves and starts to put them on, snatchs down our order from overhead. We could clearly hear her mumbling obscenities. After fifty minutes in total waiting we told them nevermind and walked out... Never again!!

Staff was VERY unprofessional. My party of 7 showed up at 11:15 a.m. and as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a young lady saying no room was available in the restaurant. We ended up looking to the back of the restaurant and saw a seat with 7 seats was available. We asked about it and she said we could take a seat but it might be a minute because they were busy.. Three employees walked by our table and never once took our drink order, brought us menus or anything. While every other guest was being served even the ones that showed up after us.. then another employee walked by our group and laughed and walked away. We ended up leaving the restaurant after this had happened. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. I will never be back and trust me. I will never recommend your restaurant to anyone. DO BETTER! 1/10 service

I did not get the drinks I ordered. Their menu is decreasing mostly breakfast food. Service was slow. Had to constantly ask for refills. They brought us an empty ketchup bottle and never came back to check on us. We had to get up and get keptchup from another table. One of our orders was grilled chicken breast and all we got was a grilled tender. It was rediculous.

I went to this restaurant on 10/25/2022 at 9:27 pm and was told they were closed. The google map listing shows they do not close until 10 pm. I hope the owners are aware of there employees closing early.
