Village Inn

The waitresses were lazily just chatting at a table while people were waiting, the place isn't very clean, and the lack of music made it a very awkward experience. The food was cold by the time it got to the table and some sides that usually go with the meal were missing. The staff isn't very friendly and I'm sad to say this place has gone downhill. Not to mention it looks like it was designed by expecting parents that didn't know what the gender would be. Bump up the professionalism guys. I realize it's Rock Springs, but you at least have to try.

If you like Denny's or IHOP, you will love this place. It's like a better class Denny's, without the extended hours.

The food quality is very high. The cost is very reasonable. Most of the wait staff will keep your drinks filled. It can be just a bit slow, but if you aren't in a big rush, it is one of the better places in town to eat.

There was no sense of urgency from the second I walked in. I was sat in a booth with full view of the service line, so I had the pleasure of watching the staff eating off of a plate of food on the line while guests stood at the register and in the lobby. The manager left (like literally left the building) as a party of 25 arrived. My grilled sandwich was just warmed bread and the pork chili was cold. The server asked how everything was and I said, "Not well," and he just left the check. There was no manager to complain to. The service and the food was both 1 star. The pies looked great in the case, but no one offered me any.

We brought our little girls to eat here and you know how messy tots can be... we were treated like we had plague.There were only two other customers in our section. By the time we left , we had 4 different servers none of which knew what the others were doing. The manager was oblivious of what the employees were doing or she just didn’t care. Very poor service.

The food was hot and tasty. Our waitress was courteous and efficient. I rated 4 stars because there is always room fo improvement. Overall, very good.

Home made sausage! Yee Haw!

I initially started out with only 3 stars but I will give them the benefit of the doubt, they were very busy as it was memorial day I'm sure, so the service wasn't as thorough or individualized. The took was pretty good, pie was great as always. In an easy location to access with plenty of parking (even for being as busy as it was.) You could tell the staff was spread thin and overwhelmed and it was a little uncomfortable on that sense.

Waitress must have been new to the career and spent more time visiting with coworkers than on customers.
My veggies were charred and the chicken fried steak must have been cooked in the same spot as it also had the taste of char to it.
Normally they are very good and we eat there often as the experience is usually pleasant with good food.

Usually the food here is adequate. I know it is Cisco frozen food, but it is presented and re-heated decently to make it adequate comfort food. Today i had an awful experience. I always order the chicken fried steak. Normally i get one single "steak". This time i got two small steaks that were luke warm and mushy. I won't be coming back for a while until they get their issues worked out. On the positive side, the waitresses and waiters, while not overly interested in doing their jobs (i can't blame them) give a fair service. The two stars reflects the food, not the servers.

I'll take this place over Denny's or IHOP any day. Always great food and great service.
