I like it. The Atmosphere always consists of wood, beer, and coffee. You can smell the graphite from the artists pencil sitting in the sunlight wooden colored booth by the window. Glass makes such pretty sounds as an old man stirs his coffee making eyes at his equally aged lover sitting across from him. The life bands always make for a lovely surprise.

Great coffee shop. Good coffee, some specialty coffee available in a variety of roasts. Manual pull espresso is very good. Snacks, quirky vibe. A solid four stars, not to be missed if you're in the area.

Place definitely deserves 5 stars, both for coffee, food and ambiance. I have a suggestion though. I went there for labor day and it would have been so very nice to know in advance if the place was open or not, but from experience google times cannot be blindly trusted in these cases and the website of the Coal Creek is utterly useless: nobody cares for the many variety of coffee you sell in bags, but the opening times and days of closures (if any) would be cool to know. Just a suggestion, leave it or take it

I am traveling through Laramie from Peoria, Illinois to Olympia, Washington helping my brother & sister-in-law move. We spent the night in Laramie and headed to Coal Creek for our morning coffee. The atmosphere is nice and cozy & the barista who took my order was friendly. I ordered an iced caramel latte with skim milk and an extra pump of caramel along with an iced Americano for my boyfriend. I usually order this at my hometown coffee spot in Illinois. I do have to say that the flavoring and syrups Coal Creek uses are very sweet, so I could have gone without the extra pump of caramel. My recommendation is that if you are ordering flavored lattes, etc, do without any extra pumps because your coffee will most likely come out sweeter than you expect. Besides that, it was a nice little local coffee stop on our way.

Great place for coffee and coffee shop bakery items. Also offer lunch food items. Craft brewery right next door!

Delicious! House coffee was 👌and the turkey pesto sandwich was delicious. Blazing fast Wi-Fi too! There is a brewery on one side of the building so you can get beer if that's more your speed.

Nice place to relax and get some work done. Free wifi is a plus, good coffee is another plus. Shout out to Quentin for the chill vibes and timely customer service.
Constructive criticism: it would be nice to see the furniture updated. The tables are a bit wobbly. I was concerned that I might spill my tasty coffee.

This place charges too much for its quality of espresso. Their large is a medium compared to Java Java and even Starbucks. Coal Creek is more expensive than Starbucks. They don't mix their espresso drinks thoroughly. They do have food which I have not tried but wanted to. Their loyalty cards (where you buy a certain amount of drinks to get a free one) only applies to certain sizes and drinks.

I love Coal Creek! The atmosphere is amazing and beer/coffee is tasty. Service is a little slow, but that's the small town feel, right? I'd recommend it to anyone!

Came here on the day of Laramie PrideFest 2019 (my fiance and I came up from Greeley, Colorado) upon the recommendation of Vice Mayor Pat Gabriel. Amazing local business, amazing coffee! Keep it up Coal Creek!
