Lovely place!! I loved everything about Coal Creek! The decor, the nice selection of teas (I don't drink coffee) and the fact that they'll refill water from your teapot, bakery items (didn't try larger meals), the ambiance... and, there's PLENTY of power outlets.
I was just passing through Laramie, but it would definitely become my regular coffee shop if I were living here. 🌞

Stopped in while dropping our son off at school. Coffee looked cool and taste great too. The cinnamon butter muffins were amazing! Friendly people, great place!

Nice atmosphere & friendly staff however chai tea was an odd flavor IMO. Prices seemed high - $14 for a large chai and a coffee cake.

The beer was great! The food was not at the level we have experienced over the past 20 years. The French onion soup had a strange combination of flavors. The pizza, though advertised with mozzarella, had some kind of Velveta-style cheese the stuck to the roof of our mouths. The cookies were rock solid and the lemon bar only had a faint taste of lemon. We are hoping that this was a fluke!

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately not the case. The food was not good. We had a BLT and French toast. The BLT must have been microwaved; the whole thing was soft mushy. They did not have syrup for the French toast, and even if they would have, it was not good. Bloody Mary tasted awful. When asked if it could be spiced up, she handed over a bottle of Tabasco. Mimosa was great! Service wasn’t good. Bill was really expensive. Bummer.

I was in a few weeks ago to pick up a coffee drink and the customer service that I experienced is still bothering me. I ordered my coffee and then of course was presented with the tip option on the screen, I chose "no tip" because I don't believe in doing something just because it's in front of me. If someone goes above and beyond, then sure sometimes I'll tip. (I've been a server for YEARS and very much understand how customer service works). I sat at a very nearby table just waiting for my drink to be called out when it was ready but the girl who took my order came over to me and SLAMMED my drink on the table without saying a word. I was actually shocked and felt very uncomfortable... caught me so off guard. Very uncalled for and because of that I will not be back.

Not a good first experience here. Decided to stop by and have lunch outside. After ordering and sitting out front, the lady brought me my food and I said "I had ordered a water as well" and she turned around to walk away saying "there's water inside". How was I supposed to know you had to serve yourself? I wasn't told this or given a cup by the cashier. So when I went inside and finally located the little water dispenser, there were no cups. I went to the register and asked about my water and she handed me a cup with no ice and pointed across the room. When I went to fill up my glass, the water was almost empty. So I ended up with a half a glass of warm water with my meal.

Best atmosphere for working by far. Coffee is always good and the rotating selection of pastries and other foods always brings me back :)

My husband and I love Coalcreek coffee. When we discovered that the shop is offering subscriptions to have it delivered monthly we were elated. Now we will never run out of the best coffee ever. This is the nicest thing we have ever done for ourselves!
