Wonderstate Coffee - Viroqua Cafe

Some of the best coffee I've ever had. I regularly order it online now that I'm no longer living in an area that sells it in stores.

So nice to have a coffee that tastes of coffee and not just sugar!! Beautiful business inside and out!

Very well executed latte, ginger cardamom cookie wasa delight

The employees are always kind and love talking about menu recommendations. The actual shop itself has a modern interior and seasonal outdoor seating but be warned that there isn't any comfy soft seating, just hard chairs and benches. The coffee itself is very good, as are the fruit scones.

I had to stop somewhere for breakfast driving home from Richland Center. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon on sourdough. Definitely in the upper tier of breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. I also got a drip coffee which was also very good. The employees were very friendly.

Lovely place for a great cup of coffee and excellent food! Service is friendly and quick. Love the food, we had the bowl with greens and an egg (can't remember the name) and it was delicious! Their cookies are amazing as well! The place looks really nice too.

Excellent as always, best breakfast/coffee in town!
Update.... I just had their double patty burger two weeks back, Fantastic! I travel for work and make a point to get the best burger in ever city/state I go to. The double patty burger at Kickapoo coffee is in my top 5 gourmet burgers I’ve had!

Good coffee but when we went at least wait was intense (20+ minutes)

Blink and you'll miss it, and that will be a sad thing. We have tried the coffee and have enjoyed it. This place cares about making good coffee! This small town shop would thrive equally well in a larger city. Looking forward to trying the food sometime soon. My only complaint would be the hours.... often not open when we are driving through town.

Update - we tried the Driftless Bowl and it was excellent.

Great sunny and happy mood in this friendly staffed coffee bar and casual dining area including a pergola covered outdoor area that's just great. Made to order food and drinks, the place has a really welcoming vibe. You should go, especially when the farmers market is going on next door. Enjoy.
