Colectivo Coffee on Humboldt

I don’t think I can say a bad thing about colectivo. The coffee was delicious and the vibe was tremendous. The baristas were quite cool and helpful.

First time visit to this coffee roaster and shop. Walking in one is hit with the incredible aroma!

We did a pick up order here while we were in the area. Relatively quick without much of a wait. I stayed in the car so I'm not sure of the interactions inside. There's a designated park on the street in front of the building for drive up orders

Went here on a late Sunday afternoon to get some work done with my partner. Not five minutes after sitting down, a man walked in and started going table to table begging for change. The man was quite obviously intoxicated and was belligerently yelling in the cafe for about 15 minutes. The staff did nothing to de-escalate his disturbing behavior and never asked him to leave. We couldn't focus on our work and went to a different shop.

I'm new to the neighborhood and was excited to visit this location because it's less busy than the lakefront and open later than Prospect. But I'm not sure I'll be visiting any time soon.

Good location, well organized for carry out and internal orders. Love that you can see the back storage and roasting area while waiting for food.
Patio is fantastic with multiple seating options including the wooden bench swing (my 3 yo favorite option).

Great atmosphere to grab a bite to eat and get a coffee of your choice , nobody bothers you ! It’s very diverse and friendly to any walks of life you walk-in immediately feeling comfort !

My how things have changed.
Suppose this is what you get when you establish a great company as a Corporation instead of a local gem. Owners sold the 1st name I can only imagine to keep the actual roaster local. Well they have completely sold the farm and now you get a second rate Starbucks with mediocre food. What happened to the Bread you paid the French to develop? I came here for what I remembered to be the best Turkey Sandwich anywhere. I could have made my Turkey sandwich at home and had a better meal. The coffee at least is still decent.

I live out of state, but I ordered coffee and pastries for my best friend for her birthday. Not only did they do an excellent job at packaging and getting it out to her, but they went above and beyond with a sweet happy birthday note! And my friends said the pastries are decadent!

Love the atmosphere, close to UWM, they have breakfast all day! there food is pretty good. This is one of my favorite colectivo locations. Lots of seating.
