Colectivo Coffee on Humboldt

Love watching (and smelling) the roasting when active. Also totally love that the new breakfast menu includes a low carb option (fritatas on dressed greens in a bowl) so now I can grab a quick breakfast with my coffee.

I have tasted a wide selection of the menu here and have yet to be disappointed. The service is always bright and polite. Did I mention the great coffee? To comply with full disclosure regulations, I must admit to owning four woolen Colectivo / Alterra watch caps and four baseball type caps. I may have a Tshirt kicking around somewhere too.

Super fun to watch coffee get made here while you enjoy one of Colectivo's infamous drinks - smoothies, espresso, coffee...... milkshakes. All so darn good. The desserts here are fabulous as well. I love taking home a slice of pie when I can.

Each Colectivo coffee shop has a slightly different vibe. This is the one where the beans are actually roasted. Lots of students on laptops, but also locals having coffee or lunch. Their breakfast & lunch items are great and the Cowboy cookie is my favorite.

Frappes are good here and it is a good place to to meet or see friends and often there are dogs to visit on the patio too. It is a busy place so it is good to send a person from your party to an open table as soon as you can.

Not only great coffee, but also great food! I've been here for lunch a few times. Their sandwiches are all made with fresh ingredients. Just like homemade, maybe better! :-)

It's my regular and I've never had as welcoming and comfortable experience at any of the other stores I've been to. Plus it comes with great guy eye candy. Just an extra perk.

First, I want to Express how much I miss walking into a busy colectivo cafe, the smell of fresh brewed coffee and the low hum of conversations- but until we can gather again- we have Colectivo curbside! I woke up to an instagram post that the Humboldt and Tosa locations were now doing curbside 🙌 so I ordered curbside through the app, which is so easy to use and reload and they even send you a message when your order is ready! Don't be like me though - I hadn't updated my app 🙈so even though I ordered curbside- they didn't know who I was! After a moment I ran up to the window and the woman who gave me my order kindly let me know to update the app and it would allow me to enter what make/model of car I was driving so they could bring it out to me next time! Thank you so much to the workers for being there- if you only knew how much I needed this coffee today!

I love neighborhood coffee places. Colectivo does a great job of being part of where they're at and this location is a great example of how River West is becoming its own cool eclectic Neighborhood. Coffee Tea Food are "perfecto" If you wanna live like the locals with good taste head here. Artist, students, professionals everyone is welcome. So go for the quality menu, people watching, to meetup with friends or to get work done where there's tons of creative energy.

One of the best coffee houses in the State. What makes it particularly good is the fresh smell of roasted coffee. Seriously, you could just close your eyes and taste it!
