A must-stop in Milwaukee, whether you’re a local or just passing through! Fun, welcoming atmosphere with great staff and absolutely incredible food! Not just excelling in food, they also host important and impactful events for the community.

First time patron on a late Sat morning morning and it did not appear overly busy. Loved the atmosphere,music and decor. After waiting 40 minutes for Pancakes/Sausage & Chicken/Waffles I had to leave for an appointment so rather than walk out I asked for it To Go which took another 10-15 minutes. I was told the wait is typical because everything is "made from scratch." I can appreciate that and if you have time to hang out for a while it might be worth your time. The waitress asked what pieces of chicken I wanted,I asked for wings or legs.I received the leg and a thigh? Overall, what we ordered tasted like most breakfast places.

Husband and I decided to grab some breakfast this morning. We saw that they had catfish on the menu so we tried it. Absolutely the worst decision we made fish was disgusting taste like bottom of the ocean and they serve us one filet smh. We also order cheese eggs and potatoes thumbs down that as well. Our toast was tough HOW? Why? I'm doing this review that to discredit the restaurant but make aware that some more training needs to be done in that kitchen.

Just like many have said, chill vibes, attentive staff, great food at a great price. Will definitely be coming back!

This was my 3rd experience and all three have not been the best. This is my last time for sure. I ordered the catfish breakfast and it was absolutely horrible. The fish was old the toast was hard, the eggs were not prepared and the potatoes were not soft. I felt like it was old and rushed out the door. Not alot of flavor in Amy of the food. I purchased additional items and we were all dissatisfied with the food. The service is great tho

Went in today ordered right away, I waited a hour and 15 minutes. While waiting I seen 4 other customers get there food before me that ordered after me and I just left. I wouldn’t attend here ever again!

While the construction may make it hard to get there, it was totally worth it. Coffee is good, nice atmosphere, and I had no idea it's also a restaurant. Definitely somewhere I'll visit again.

A group of us combined a lunch at this wonderful organization with a visit to America's Black Holocaust Museum which is just a short drive away. What an amazing way to spend an afternoon! The people at CMYB are exceptional, the food was perfection, and the artwork was inspiring. I so wish I had a place like this in my backyard.
