Why does this place have only a 4.4 rating? They have the BEST southern breakfast in Midwest! The salmon croquettes comes too close to perfect! Get there! 5.0 rating is deserved!

Visiting from Texas! First visit took an hour and a half for the food (shrimp and grits) but the food was delicious. I came back for another order and only got 5 small shrimp, toast was missing. Came back for my toast and to ask what’s going on with the shrimp. I was told they only put 5 small sized shrimp on the shrimp and grits. That was not what I got last time or else I would not have come back. Tried to return it but no refunds. Very disappointed and will not be returning or recommending.

Overall I think the value that this place deliver is excellent. For a neighborhood restaurant I truly appreciate being able to come here and get a good home cooked meal.

The venue definitely needs a resurface and I believe it definitely throws people off when you walk in.

Food was excellent and at first you may be hesitant but it was great.

Service: just like many other restaurants during this time, they were severely short staffed. They need at least 2-3 more people for their busy Saturday mornings.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Once you get pass the appearance you will have a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Really good food and good prices. Had the chicken and waffles special and the French toast breakfast with coffee. Our server was kind and helpful. All around, would recommend!

First time here & it was really great. Staff was friendly & our server was amazing; she made sure we were well taken care of. Food was delicious, shrimp & grits for me & the chicken & waffle for my cousin. Would definitely recommend if you've never been here to check 'em out

I was excited to try the food based upon family recommendations, the food didn't disappoint me. The cook was very pleasant. Definitely while in Wisconsin, I will come again.

I love supporting black owned businesses. The atmosphere was mellow and welcoming. The service was also great. There was a nice variety of food choices. The family and I enjoyed everything. The fried chicken was succulent and tasty. Fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, and the mac & cheese were all delicious. I would definitely visit again.

We held our little brother's funeral repass at this facility.. It was very clean and neat. The service was with a smile.. The food was very delicious, I mean everything that was on the menu was good.. This was the first time I've been to a repass and everything was good, to the point where I got seconds and took some home. They didn't rush us , they let us take our time. I will recommend this place to anybody that ask.

Always calm, very sweet staff, I usually just get coffee, but unfortunately the men’s bathroom was a little funky.

I ordered Breakfast Skillet that was not good at all I waited 40 minutes for it.when there was only 3 other persons in the restaurant. So this appointed
