No highchairs at Middleton’s “Good Neighbor” cafe. Not family friendly. Dangerous for kids. I hope everyone will encourage them to buy highchairs!

Wonderful coffee shop!! Beautiful pastries! I always stop when in town. Got a huge cinnamon roll last time! Good spot to work as well.

Great coffee (both cortado and latte), amazing pastries, and excellent sandwich options. Environment was pleasant and staff very helpful and friendly

unfriendly vibe from the workers. no smiles. asked for cream in my cold brew and the guy rolled his eyes. then my plastic cup broke when I put the top on, so I asked for another one, laughed and said sorry. didn’t get a single smile and they acted like I was a burden. If i’m going to pay $22 for a BLT and cold brew… Give me a “you’re welcome” or a smile. Maybe it’s just the cloudy weather? 😂

Breakfast was a chorizo wrap and potatoes very good but husband had pancakes, bacon(undercooked), coffee good. Restaurant very dirty. Under couch food, dust, plants on bar yellow leaves n not kept up, small round coffee tables by couches had food crumbs all over them, garbage cans heaping full. Customers seemed happy w pastries n coffee.

Very pleasing aesthetic (indoor garden/boutique/steampunk) with great coffee and fresh baked delicacys. A bit pricey and can get very busy during peak morning times (especially in the weekends). Overall worth a visit

Cocktails are well stocked, including Aviation gin, but no one to make/serve them. I ordered cinnamon crumble French toast and got a plain, dry stack. When I took to the front and asked "what kind of French toast is this?", The answer was "nothing we serve... Let me fix this". So something went very wrong. When my order was fixed - the only difference was some crumbles on top and some syrup. Two things I think could have been given to me on the side before and not wait.
Why was the wait important to me? I have 3 kids, 2 of them 3 years old .. so time matters. 😎
I know there was some issues at some locations the past few months... So maybe staff left / were fired? Either way, this is not the same experience from a year ago. I'm going to give them some time to figure things out before heading back.

I decided to give this location a shot despite the well known health code violations, but was very disappointed in almost everything. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone via phone or Facebook to determine whether I could bring my dog and eventually reached someone from a different Grace Coffee location who said most locations allow service dogs but will be lenient about others sometimes… well I got there and was told I couldn’t have my dog there, which is fine, I just wish someone answered the phone and saved me trip. Furthermore, my French toast took ages, when my to-go buzzer finally went off I went over to where the kitchen is and stood there for five minutes before eventually just digging for my own to go box; no signage or help offered. Finally, I saw one of the wait staff picking food out of someone’s dish (presumably because the chefs made a mistake) and then still serving it to someone. The food and coffee was good, I will say, just lack of quality and care of service it seems.

Ordered a Croissant breakfast sandwich, coffee, and a cheese danish with raspberries (also on a Croissant) through Door Dash and there were what appeared to be eyebrow hairs on the breakfast sandwich, and tiny specks of dirt in the cheese danish. Additionally, the Croissant part of the danish somehow had mold INSIDE it. Of course, I find this out after eating part of both items. It makes me wonder if they dropped my order on the floor and then weren't able to remake it in time. Now I'm waiting to see if I'm going to get food poisoning or not. After reading some of the reviews on here about the cleanliness (or lack thereof) in the restaurant, I'm - 1 - amazed that the health department hasn't stepped in - 2 - going to be dissecting any food I order before eating it, and - 3 - never going to order from this place ever again.

Nice to have a Grace Coffee in Middleton. Love the vibes! Staff very friendly and fast. The Everything Croissant was delicious! Chai latte was good but they never ask what type of milk I want, and I actually need almond milk instead of dairy. You'd expect a place like Grace to at least ask or have a sign of alternative health options, but I guess not.
Dine in experience is a little awkward, grabbing drinks and food from two different counters at different times instead of at once, causing patrons to get up from their seat several times. Noticed no cleaning of the tables in-between uses, and the couch seating areas were rather dirty by 10am (although one man I watched spill half his sandwich didn't exactly do much to clean it up lol). I'm sure like most places they are short staffed and doing their best to keep up. Be sure to tip!
Also surprised they allow dogs inside as I do not believe this is a closed kitchen (a wall/door separating the kitchen from the dining area).
Management - looks like this location needs some re-evaluation in a lot of different departments, time to take the complaints this shop has received with some seriousness.
Correction: they now have a sign at the door that says service animals only, not pets.
I've been asked 1 out of 6 times now what type of milk for the latte, so at least 1 employee remembers to.
