They are usually really good and quick but today’s experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. I waited 45 minutes for my drink and after coming up to the counter to let them know how long I had been waiting, I find out that they forgot/lost my order (one drink).

4 employees working. Cafe about half full. All other orders filled. One employee eating behind the counter, one cleaning, 2 visiting. My friend is half done with her meal and mine is not ready. I inquire...they forgot. They make it and call my name. It's the wrong dish entirely. My friend has finished eating. I am called again for my food. No apology. What has happened to customer service? Over microwaved eggs and grains. Grains were so crunchy and dry I could not eat them. Thoroughly disappointed. Have loved this cafe in the past.

Staff was nice. Place was clean. Easy menu. Coffee and food was good.

Traditional coffee shop prices with superior service, offering classic beverages, favorite specialties, and creative or classic meals. Shoutout to Salen and Olivia for being awesome and welcoming baristas.

Regularly stop at the west wash location for there smoothies and they are great. This location however, not so much. Not sure if my smoothie was missing something or the proportions were off but it is definitely not the same as the downtown location.

Barriques always has a great selection of coffee and food items, and great customer service.

I was also impressed with how the employee at Barriques today (I think his name was Andrew) handled an anti-masker in the store and stayed calm in spite of her rudeness and was able to get her to leave. It's something that nobody in the service industry should have to deal with, but props to Barriques/Andrew for handling it so well.

Nice location and comfortable spot for a coffee. Plenty of parking. Good dark roasted coffee today.

I have been having double espressos here for years. I like this place when it is not crowded ( it usually gets lotta people at lunch time). Amusing thing is that you gotta buy at least a single candy to be able to crack a bottle of wine. We intended to have wine and espressos but "the house rules" require at least a little chocolate bar to keep the clients sober.

I often look for excuses to stop here. While Barriques is a chain, they maintain a good neighborhood coffee feel. Their coffee is up to par, and their drinks are never too sweet (though I'm sure they'd accommodate if that's your preference). The ability to purchase wine from a nicely curated selection is a good bonus. It's a good place to stay to catch up with friends, and efficient enough if your on the go.

Consistently, one of the best coffee houses in Madison. They know how to make a dry cappuccino breve and other coffee drinks, and they have good morning pastries. It can be crowded at certain times in the morning but that's the fun of the place. The crowd in interesting and the staff is friendly. A great experience.
