Indie Coffee

Indie Coffee is a great coffeehouse with a chill atmosphere and has very friendly and helpful staff. The decor is cute and cozy; however, it is great for groups as well as working on a laptop. The coffee is delicious and the waffle was mouthwatering good (got the original buttermilk and was very happy with my choice). I look forward to coming back to try more drink options and see what else I enjoy on the food menu. I'd highly recommend this coffeehouse.

Really good coffee. They don't burn their shots like other places I've been to. Food is also pretty nice.

The staff are very polite and friendly. The coffee is good and the price is similar to what you would expect from a chain. I haven't tried the food yet, but I've heard good things about their waffles!

The coffee and food is great, gf options for bread and bagels also. I'd give 5 stars but there's tons of old school indie records and artists on the wall, but the music they play is utterly opposite of this. Lol. It's cramped, but cute and very clean.

Love this place! The staff is excellent, proportions are awesome, and the coffee always comes out creamy and delicious. I have yet to order something that I don't love. I suggest a salad if you want the most bang for your buck and a sandwich if you want something to indulge in. I haven't tried their waffles but their dessert drinks have always come out perfectly! They never rush it but somehow they are still fast. Whatever flavor they describe the drink to be it comes out as such, not just a lump of sugar like some flavored drinks!

Amazing Chai shakes and waffles! Great place to study or chill. Always recommend.

I usually love their coffee but not this time. I asked for a mocha and it was to-go, and didn't check until I reached home. I ended up getting a latte, which sucked! Please pay attention to the orders!

I ordered a latte (with whole milk) and was disappointed with the fact my drink tasted like I was just drinking warm milk. The expresso beans used at this place are not strong. In fact, I order this same drink at other places (MOKA, Starbucks) and have never had this experience.

The drinks were OK, but i cant say much more than that. They did mess up my order. Ordered a chocolate chip waffle and got a blueberry pecan? waffle. Not something I liked and could have been a problem if I had a nut allergy.

One of my favorite spots when I'm visiting Madison but they need to turn up the heat in late October.
