Indie Coffee

I have had nothing but AMAZING experiences here at Indie. Their food and drinks are always on point- never disappoint. They have such friendly staff and coming in here to order has always left me feeling happier. Everyone should try the Monet Sunrise and Cloud-9! My husband and I have made it routine to come in on the weekends for a breakfast bagel and lattes.

Also huge shout-out to their staff for keeping my credit card safe after accidently leaving it. They contacted me and had it ready when I showed up.

During COVID-19, I tried some other coffee shops to cover our weekend routine since they were closed on Sundays, but nothing compares to their hand-crafted drinks. We decided to just wait until they opened back up on Sundays and were so happy when they returned to normal hours. I really appreciate their safe practice they have enforced during COVID-19 as well. Thank you ! See you next Saturday!

Good coffee and espresso. Fun atmosphere. Good to excellent pastries and sandwiches. Have not had the Belgian waffles (yet!). Popular but (slightly cramped) seating is usually available.

Coffee - amazing, probably the best almond milk latte I’ve had in Madison. I inhaled the entire thing in under a minute.

Food - not as great and takes a long time. Also, while they have gluten free food they mixed up orders and gave me a regular bagel which makes me wary to order food there again.

Cozy vibes and yummy food. A good place to read a book or meet up with a couple friends to chat.

I have been a customer of Indie Coffee for years. I do not visit weekly. However, I always receive a great coffee drink. I also enjoy their wafels. The owner is very hands-on and hires great staff. I give them a lot of credit for running a successful business through some difficult economic times and stiff competition in the area.

The place is interesting, I like the music and the atmosphere there. There is some small table to study which is okay for your laptop and your drink. Some tables suitable for 4 people.The drinks also are so unique and delicious. You also can order sandwich or some sweets. The place is not so big.

Such a wonderful place for studying. It's not too loud, and the atmosphere was great! I had coffee and food here - both of which were delicious. I can't believe I've lived in Madison for so long and am just getting here. I'll be back.

I used to really like them, food was always slow but coffee was fast. Their new system is terrible and just going to get worse. It took them 25 minutes to make 2 coffees... And they used my gift card then charged me full price, I didn't realize it until later. Standing on the curb waiting for a coffee even they could have more people inside was strange. I'm not going back.

Cozy coffee shop close to camp randall. The coffee is above average while their waffles are incredible. The building has a nice home feel to it and the patio out back is very nice to sit in during the hot summer months!
