Absolutely love the ability to order online now (didn't have previously). It is much easer than calling and hoping the person on the phone listens to you and gets your order down correctly. I can confirm my order is correct by looking online. They have FREE DELIVERY which many restaurants do not do these days which is also AMAZING! I tip much more to companies that do this. The food is always amazing and have never had an incorrect order or missing items. I highly recommend!

The food and service are great, and our kids love looking out the huge windows at the birds in the lake. Usually we see ducks, swans, and pheasants. Add that extra ambiance to the food and service, and we are willing to drive across town to come here. Plus, there are no long lines to get on the wait list like there are at the Pancake Place. Every time we have gone to Julie's we have been seated within 5 minutes of walking in the door, if not immediately.

Honestly this place use to be one of my favorite places to go the waitresses were AMAZING the food was AMAZING.I was always a great tipper sometimes leaving the waitresses/waiter 100$ simply because they were so so good at their jobs. This time however was very different my wife and I seriously sat there for 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging that we were there while watching two waitresses elbowing up to the other customers looking at us yet totally ignoring the fact that we were even there and it's a shame cause this use to be one of the "hidden gems" of the brown county green bay area where it felt so welcoming but now with the workforce totally being terrible its kinda dying and that is really sad

2pm. Lunch. Had to wait 20 mins. to get seated, another 15 for waitress
Ordered chili and bacon cheeseburger ...wife ordered soup,salad and bread sticks.
1/2 hr. later I received my chili. Wife still waited for salad and soup.
I got my stone cold, burnt burger after another 20 min wait and the waitress informs my wife they are out of the soup she requested.
My wife told the waitress to cancel the order and within 5 mins the waitress produces the soup, salad and bread sticks claiming the cook found some in the kitchen which was anything but luke warm.
Waitress never came back to check on us or question the food.
Then had to wait another 10 mins to pay the bill with no apologies regarding food or service.
There were 5 others in the place eating and no one was getting decent service from the 3 waitresses on duty
Never going back!

Super server and good food once we got it. It was kind of a long wait especially for the Grandkids but our server was so sweet and so happy it made up for it. She had such a wonderful demeanour and a great personality we have been here before and will be back

Everything from the service to the food was aweful! Our waitress kept forgetting things. She actually said "I can't remember everything you ordered when she came back with 2 of the 4 meals. She forgot silverware & I ordered all you can eat soup, salad & bread sticks..I got one of each before she disappeared for the rest of the meal. She only reappeared to put our check on the table. My older daughter that loves mashed potatoes & gravy took 2 bites & said it tasted funny..the potatoes were dry & the gravy smelled sour..my husband's smothered chick was a very small piece & extremely overcooked..my younger child ordered spaghetti & meatballs (favorite) but refused to eat the meatballs, they were rubbery & smelled horrible-even the sauce couldn't cover the smell! My salad barely covered ever half the salad plate & my soup was lukewarm at best. However the flavor wasn't bad. You may ask why we didn't complain at the time when we checked out? 1) we weren't asked how our meal was 2) our waitress was the person who checked us out. Our over all experience was horrendous & the only recommendation I have is DON'T GO!!!

Variety of menu choices, and the quality was good.
There was a little wait, but at this time (June 2021) I know many restaurants are struggling with staffing, so as long as you're patient, it'll be good.

So the view is great but thats about the extent of anything good to say about my experience at Julies Cafe on Velp... The food was ok, couldnt really say anything great or anything bad about it. However, the service.. the Waitress we had was HORRIFIC! Brought our food and walked away as i was asking for water for my daughter and a soda for myself... came by 10 minutes later to ask how everything was and turned away as i 1was trying to ask for water and a soda. When she grunted in acknowledgement she groaned like we were asking too much of her.. After the service we had with a server that obviously hates her job, we will not be coming back again...

downside: only 2 other cars there yet took a long time to get our drinks then another long wait on food. both my daughter and i had incorrectly prepared items so there was another wait. plus side: we sat on the deck and it was beautiful. our server was amazing in spite of everything. and my replacement food? HUGE serving and delicious.
