Blue Horse Beach Cafe

I eat here at least once a day when I visit Door Co, which is several times a year. If I only have time to go once, I order two meals so I have one for later or to take home. Every single thing I've ever had, food & drink, has been wonderful. I recommend ALL of it!!

The good reviews seem somewhat miss placed for us. Our food was ok but smoothie lacking, tasted like a smoothie made with strawberry purée or jam vs fresh strawberries. Just wasn’t a favorite. Pretty location though and friendly staff.

Been going here for years and always had the best time. Great food and best cafe drinks in the whole of Door County. And I have gone to a lot of different spots! Still by far my favorite.

Small, cute sandwich shop/cafe. They have limited in-door sitting that faces the waterfront. Very cute place to have a quick lunch.

I drove 20 minutes from Bailey’s Harbor to get coffee from Blue Horse for my dad and I. I waited through a 30 minute line through the door while the cashier chatted it up with every single customer so that every transaction took 5 minutes or more. When I got to the front and ordered my drink, it was THEN that the cashier decided to inform me that the wait for drinks was another 25 minutes. What a complete and utter waste of my time. I left so frustrated (and coffeeless) that I was in tears. Do not go here if you don’t plan to spend a good hour waiting for one coffee drink. The coffee is good but nothing to write home about anyways. Go to the nearby Julie’s Park Cafe & Motel instead- the specialty coffee is about the same quality, there was no line, and the cashier was nice. I don’t see myself returning to Blue Horse for a long time.

Best little dive in the area. Coolest people and coolest vibe. Menu limited but good bar food. Waitresses were so nice and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic coffee...love their drink called Chuck Norris! Delicious food too!

This really cute cafe has great coffee and is vegetarian and vegan friendly. They have a small vegan menu (pictured) and offer a few different kinds of vegan milk, including Oatly oat milk.

Great go to for breakfast and lunch.
Note that when it's busy their online system stops taking new orders and you will have to order in person, but the line moves fairly quick with friendly staff moving you right along, and the wait is worth it!
We loved our breakfast sandwiches (a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit and a Veg Out) and the coffee was great, too.
No dine in at the moment but there's a cute patio in the back and a beach across the street.

Nice food with view.
