Very, very popular place. Extremely understaffed. Ordered an egg sandwich and it was very good. My wife ordered the curry chicken salad which was great. We waited 30 minutes for the food and she waited 40 minutes for a latte.
Beatles playing continously, so that's a strike.
Do NOT go in. Just order ahead and drop by 45 minutes to an hour later.

We visited on 10/25/22. Had a couple great breakfast sandwiches, a blended smoothie, and a mocha. Staff was friendly. They look right out to the water. Has both inside and outside seating.

Delicious!!!! Hubby had breakfast and I had lunch! Sat out back and enjoyed the whole experience!

The Blue Horse is a breath of fresh air, literally. It's location is spectacular and the food is as fresh as the air. The java is excellent with creative names to make the experience more fun. Try the "Chuck Norris" for a little kick; I'm sure Chuck Norris would be pleased!

We arrived expecting to get a delicious cold brew coffee after being referred here by a best friend's sister's friend's brother's wife's child's daughter's boyfriend. We waited in line for 30 minutes. As we approached the register I overheard the cashier chatting it up with the guests, and stating there would be a 30 minute wait for a coffee. My friends did not believe me-- how could it possibly take over 30 minutes for a cold brew they wondered?
We stepped to the register eager for our long awaited cold brew only to be told it would take 30 minutes to obtain it. We were then informed that only a drip hot coffee could be obtained at the time of purchase. I am unclear why a hot coffee can be poured immediately, but a pre-made cold brew from a wide lipped pitcher sitting in the fridge behind you cannot be poured immediately. We simply wanted a cold brew without cream, no frills.
We left with three hot coffees, completely beside ourselves, some of us in tears. Don't come here unless you enjoy waiting over an hour for COLD coffee, or if you wish to pretend that you are living in a real life episode of curb your enthusiasm.
Despite the tears, I admit the hot drip coffee was the best I had during my short stay. Sadly I cannot comment on the cold brew -- and I'm not sure who has 30 minutes to sit around and wait for it, I certainly do not. Perhaps if the business hires a consultant who specializes in operations to help fix this absurdity I will try again.

Discovered this cafe on our trip to Fish Creek the first week of October. We liked it so much, we went back two more visits! I ordered the Veg Out sandwich & it was delicious! We also tried the roasted carrot quinoa salad (and split it as it was a nice large serving) also delicious. All their coffees sounded wonderful but didn’t try as I had a tasty smoothie…very well run & excellent customer service. Right across from the bay so a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend, great vibe, will definitely be back on future trips :).

I went to the cafe last week and loved it! The latte was delicious and I highly recommend the bagel with cream cheese, pesto amd sliced fresh tomatoes. The cafe is small but what it lacks in space it makes up for in charm. There is also an outside seating area that hadn't yet opened for the season when I was there. 💓

My family stopped here for carry-out coffee, but the vibe inside is great. I love the space and could see staying here for a chat or to read a while.
The coffee was wonderful - even if we just opted for a few drop cups to go.
We also got taken by the bakery options. We bought a few croissants and were more than pleased. Quite fresh, great crisp flaky texture. They surpassed expectations for an on-a-whim croissant.
I'll definitely drop in again.

Terrific place for a quick meal. They have several vegan and vegetarian options, clearly identified on the menu. And they are very tasty items, not the standard fare vegans are so often stuck with. My omni husband was also happy with his sandwich.
