Blue Horse Beach Cafe

Great location, great food, great drinks.
Our family has stopped here a number of times over the years and we continue to find an enjoyable experience. Outdoor seating options in the back, indoor seating with some views of the bay. The bakery items are fresh and delightful, though get there early for the best selection. Both breakfast and lunch sandwiches are nicely portioned and have great flavors.

This is my top place to get breakfast in the area. The food and drinks are amazing, the staff are world class, lovely outdoor patio. My favorite thing to do is to get breakfast, eat it there, and get lunch to go.

This Coffee Shop and Eatery has got it down. Great coffee selection and the breakfast sandwiches are delish.

This was our last stop of our trip to Door County and it was a great stop! The place was packed and it is order your food and then find a place to sit and eat. They have a small porch to sit on but most of the seating is outside. It worked out that we were able to grab a window seat in front and just sit and look out at the calm water! My food was super yummy! I got a cinnamon roll, to die for, an oatmeal, so yummy and not runny, and a Chuck Norris, had the perfect punch! The Chuck Norris is a Carmel latte with a triple shot! And it is so pretty! In the picture you will see a partially eaten cookie. (This cookie sandwich was shared with me by another customer that I became friends with while waiting in line to order our food!) It was AMAZING! Two cookies with a thick layer of cinnamon roll frosting. Holy cow, I had a bit of a sugar rush for our 5 hour drive home!!!! I cant wait to go back and visit!

We just got home from our latest Door County adventure and we went to Blue Horse 4 of 4 days; including, for the first time, for lunch! Not only did we get lunch for the first time, but it was so good we went twice. Blue Horse is our favorite place in all of Door County and we’ve been going since the summer they were in the garage before the café was completed. I daydream about a Blue Horse iced caramel mocha when we’re not there. Several summers ago (in June) I had a life-changing strawberry lemon scone. I’ve never had one there again (not in season) and I’ve never been able to make them myself half as good as Blue Horse. This year we tried a cinnamon roll for the first time. It was amazing. You will not be disappointed. Go for the coffee, get a pastry, and then go back for lunch. We ❤ Blue Horse.

Nice and warm place, open all year round

A friend and I caught a quick lunch here. It is a charming location with tasty food (we had ham sandwiches), great coffee and a delightful staff.

There was a little bit of a wait.. But it was worth it! Delicious quick breakfast and amazing coffee!! Relaxed atmosphere and the staff were knowledgeable and high energy! I highly recommend it! Also beautiful views of the water!

Simple unique coffee house with FABULOUS breakfast sandwiches and bakery! I would stop there every single day if I could. Every. Single. Day! Be ready to stand in line cuz the word is out how special this place is. But service moves pretty quickly. Nice little courtyard with seating in the back. Just thinking about that breakfast sandwich I had is making my mouth water...! Oh yeah, good coffee too!

Adorable cafe with a short but varied list of breakfast and lunch options, each available all day (and they're healthy!) Dozens of drink options and lots of baked goods. There's a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options and even when they're busy the service is super fast and super friendly. A peaceful place to enjoy the paper (available here) or a book or friends or anything.
