Iconic cafe in Fremont.
Pros: The cafe's wrap around porch on a sunny day is by far one of the best places to hang out in Fremont to catch a coffee date. Lots of seating nooks and crannies to read, study, people watch, etc. <3
Neutral: The Baristas are hit or miss, really just depends. It ranges from amazing coffee complete with skull latte art(no picture) to drinks I couldn't finish.
Con(?): The cafe has gone through some renovation/rebranding in the past 6 months or so...not sure if it's new mgmt or what but I miss the atmosphere of Fremont Coffee before the renovation/rebrand. It used to feel more relaxed and homey, imo. Would agree with other reviewers that the chai is not good. Very watery.

Amazing, home roasted, hand crafted espresso with a nice selection of Italian sodas and pastries. Although seating is limited, it's a nice, cozy environment with good music and good smells

This is a must do in Seattle…excellent customer service and definition of Seattle coffee.

Seriously such a bad experience. I want to give credit for the employees working through the large line.But I ordered a cappuccino and when I got it the entire thing looked awful. No attempt to make it look nice. Then on top of the milk there was a hair, so that was great. Also zero attempt on behalf of the staff to be kind. I’m spending $5 on coffee and I’m friendly. What did I do wrong?

Went here for an early afternoon pick me up. It's in an old house which is pretty rundown... But it has ample seating options, many outdoors which I appreciated. Coffee was so-so hence the rating...

The costumer service was the worst, the woman at register was incredibly mean. We weren’t annoying her at all but she had a massive attitude, we said are please and thank you but she immediately had an attitude. We sat down at 6:20 to send some quick emails outside and she only came up to me and my girlfriend the only POC in the cafe is seemed and told us “don’t get too comfy, we’re closing soon”. On google it said they closed at 8 so I just went up to ask her nicely and she was so rude! Honestly we did nothing to bother her, but immediately as soon as we went to the cafe we were met with hostility and annoyance. The coffee is also alright so it’s not even worth the rude costumer service.

I love the coffee here but the staff is not the friendliest. :/ Recently, when ordering my coffee I asked to add flavoring and the barista taking/making my order forcefully indicated that wasn't his job and to tell someone else down the line. It had me taken aback and adding the flavor last made it so that was all I could taste.
