Anita's Coastal Cafe

Greeted so rudely. I had just got coffee and we spotted them for breakfast. No "hi welcome" I was greeted with "leave your coffee in your car" no thanks could have been told or asked much more politely

My husband and I went there for dinner at 5:30 p.m. the restaurant was empty and we wanted to sit at a table for four by the window we were told no because those are reserved for parties of four only and we would have to sit at the smaller tables in the corner. We went to El Compadre restaurant and we're allowed to sit anywhere we wanted and they were very busy, they have excellent food

Awful cheeseburgers and the clam chowder was inedible. For a burger, fries, and clam chowder with 2 med sodas was nearly $30. The staff were very nice, but I won't be back for sure.

Thank you to those who have been there and left the reviews on this place plays the vax against unvaxed game. It's a dangerous game they're playing. I'm going to the Berry patch. 🐑💩🤷

We adore Anita and her cafe. Frequently visiting from Portland, we look forward to starting off each morning at Anita's. She, and her staff, are very friendly and accommodating. A must-eat place if you are near Ocean Park.

Our experience with Anita the cafe owner is similar to Bill Woo's. She is extremely rude and dismissive, especially if you are not a regular - read old fogey constantly camped out drinking coffee but not eating anything, for good reason. The cars in the parking lot are misleading, these are not tourists. She was sluggish, intentional wording, to bring water/coffee and then took about 10 minutes with an almost empty restaurant to come back for our order. We had HAD it with her by then and left money for coffee before we left which SHE said was rude!!! Do not disregard one star reviews of this place, you will not have a good experience.

Food was superb! A bit cold inside, but whi cares when the food and coffee tastes si good.

My daughter enjoyed the kid's area too!
