Redhead Bay Cafe

This was our first visit, and wow! We will be back. Short wait for a table, but it's definitely worth it. The portion sizes are huge! Service was great too.

Hands down one of my most favorite breakfast spots. The big cedar is amazing! And add their cheese grits & Americano! ❤ go early. They get budy fast!

I sat outside on a very nice owner built picnic table under a solid awning with a light but cool Redhead Bay wind to keep me company. Soon I was shooting the breeze with one of the owners, Nick, (thought he was my waiter at first, that's how at ease he makes all his customers feel) until my food arrived.

I ordered the biscuit and gravy that day. It arrived within 10 min and was warmly appealing (see pic). I took the first bite and immediately knew this was no ordinary dish. The sausage was obviously high quality, the sliced bacon was firm, gravy was creamy but not overly so, and the tater tots were crispy and seasoned. It was so good i completely forgot the soft warm moist goodness of the biscuit until it ignited my tastebuds like a flavor firework. Well done chef, well done!!

I figured it was a fluke so I returned the next day and had the macaroni sandwich(see pic). It was equally as awesome.

A few days later I took a risk and ordered the softcrab sandwich (see pic). It was equally amazing!

My new favorite locals hideaway.

No worries if there's a wait as there's plenty of outdoor games, an outdoor bar, and chairs overlooking a pond.

It's worth the drive.

We went there for my birthday, this was our first visit. I was not disappointed. Everything about Redhead Bay was wonderful. We will be going back. Also the Bourbon Bloody Mary was great.

My family loved this place! We went for breakfast to celebrate my moms birthday. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was kind.

This place was recommended to my husband and I while visiting some relatives and I am SO glad we stopped in. It was a tiny, warm, friendly little cafe and we cant wait to go back next time we are in town. Our server was "Makayla" (spell check) and she was just as sweet as can be! Very attentive but not overly attentive and just all around nice girl. I ordered the grilled chicken taco special with the corn and bean mix added and it was just delicous! Generous portion of food and had enough left over to have for lunch the next day. My husband had the breakfast sandwich which was also very good, and looked so appetising we had the 2 women sitting next to us ask what it was. We would have gone back the next day if we hadn't had to jump back on the road and travel to our next stop. We look forward to going back next time we are in town. I highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area!

Our favorite brunch spot👍🏻 Portions are hefty, it’s nice to have leftovers the next day. The food is great no doubt, but the drinks are where it’s at! Love that my daughter can order a ‘fancy’ drink, it’s the most exciting thing for her. When her drink comes to the table, it makes her day! So fun
