30 minute drive and 30 minute wait but the service and food were worth it to my wife and I..Allysa was our waitress and she was bartending also, and very pregnant, so her attention to our table was fantastic considering the multi-tasking she was doing, very polite! We ordered the "catfish bites" "strawberry 🍓 salad balsamic glaze," and "soft shell crab sandwich with potatoes 🥔...everything was fantastic! Good menu choice also...

Fantastic everything! Atmosphere, Food, Service top notch! Ally was on point with every turn of her service. The food was excellent, the Hippy Sip drink 🤌 Absolutely astonished that as a local I had not been here till today....My new favorite spot! I will certainly be bringing out my people and will consider myself a new local to the Redhead Bay Cafe!
Came back for Brunch today and was taken care of by Rachel. She was most excellent in her service and attentiveness to us. The shrimp and grits...my goodness. Walked out of there food drunk. We drive an hour away from home out here just for this restaurant. Worth the drive!!

Great breakfast!
Unique Bloody Mary options.
The owner walked around greeting customers and helping wait staff at times. Variety of items to choose from. Plan to visit again for lunch!

This is an unbiased review based on our overall dining eperience.. It was our first time visiting this restaurant. There were lots of good reviews on the food here and we wanted to try it out. We arrived right before 1p and were advised of the wait time, an hour or so. They closed at 3.. We were okay with that as it was a Sunday and we would have waited the same elsewhere. We recieved the text notification that our table was ready at 2:04pm. We were seated outside, covered patio with ceiling fans. Thirty mins in and no one had come to take our order yet. My wife interrupted a busser named Ben and asked if we could at least have a water while we continued to wait. Ben showed genuine care and concern and asked how long had we been waiting. Ben immediately went to get our waters and a waitress, he apologized and explained that this is not the norm for the restaurant. The waitress Skylar had been serving other tables near us but said the hostess never communicated to her that she had seated anyone, but she came out twice to service two other tables in her area and never once looked in out direction.. we were 6 feet away! The waitress finally took our orders at 2:40pm and brought the wrong drink out at 3pm. Our drink orders weren't too complicated, a sprite, sugar free vanilla iced coffee and a hot mocha. The waitress never introduced herself. Meanwhile, a table in a different servers section, that was sat after us were enjoying their meals when our drinks finally came. The food came shortly after and the food was delicious. Ben stopped by to check on us and asked how the food was and to see if we were in need anything else and we appreciated that. Ben was very managerial and had good customer service/people skills. Our 11yo daughter even said that the waitress was giving "I'm not in the mood for this" vibes. I'm sure she's a nice person and today may have just been an off day, we all have them. It was because of Ben, and the good food that we are going to give it another shot throughout the week and see if the service is any different. We were told that its less busy.. Needless to say, I ended up giving the busser Ben the grautuity, because he showed more concern for us than our server did...
I also wanted to add that there was a 'Open Check' deduction of $10 on our bill, which nobody explained what that was.. I just assumed they took $10 off for us having to wait so long... We will follow up after our next visit..

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and plated beautifully. Staff were attentive and kind. Went for lunch on a Friday, it was not overly packed and we had no wait to be seated. The cinnamon bun pancakes are a must even if you just by a stack to share at the table it's totally worth it!!!

This spot has quickly become our go to brunch spot!! The drive for us is about 40 minutes, but the restraunt is beautiful! It has rustic/farmhouse vibes, a lot of food choices and amazing drink menu. I ALWAYS get the biscuits and gravy and a Brazilian coffee while my husband gets the southern Benedict or chicken and waffles. We also get the boom boom shrimp everytime as an appetizer. If you are looking for a good brunch, this place is a must!

Our favorite place to go with friends! The food is amazing. We've never had a bad meal here. The drinks are equally delicious! The atmosphere and service are great. Love that the owner will periodically come to the table to check on things. Favorite dish so far, biscuits and gravy and stuffed French toast.

Great place for Sunday brunch with friends or family. It’s a little pricey to make it a regular thing, but it’s worth the price all things considered. The environment is great, and the staff is attentive. I’ll be back.
