Redhead Bay Cafe

We recently moved here and this little spot is close by. I decided to take my friend out for brunch and we both have been wanting to check this place out. First off the atmosphere is adorable. Nice outside seating with hanging plants and extra picnic tables with umbrellas on the lawn. Our server was excellent she really sweet and helpful. We decided to get a mimosa flight you choose three juices and get a bottle of champagne. As we sat there we noticed others getting their food and the portions were huge. My friend can’t eat a lot so we shared a shrimp omelette and it was so good! I can’t wait to get my bf here for a nice brunch one day. Until them me and my gf’s will be back for mimosas!

This place was amazing! If Momma Judy is around make sure you speak with her! She had such knowledge and passion about this place and you can really tell she takes pride in what she does. The food was delicious and the coffee was great too!! If

Amazing. Y'all get down here and get some of the best food in Hampton Roads. We came for breakfast and had a tall stack of pancakes, biscuits and gravy and avocado toast. The presentation was great. Outdoor seating was cozy.

FANTASTIC food and staff! Everything was tasty and fresh and cooked beautifully. The staff was helpful and genuinely kind and helped us navigate our first trip out here. Definitely worth the hour and half round trip to get here and will be going back soon.

If you get tired of the 2.5 hour wait for brunch at Virginia Beach then it’s time to take a short drive south to Redhead Bay Cafe. The wait time is usually less than 45 min and they have an outdoor bar that’ll help the time fly by. Wait time aside, the food is the real reason it’s so worth the drive. It’s delicious and the portions are huge, you will not leave hungry! And don’t forget to try a boozy coffee.

Food and service were spectacular. Lovely cozy farm house vibes. Natalie was such a lovely server! She was super attentive and kind. Can't wait to come back !

Pretty good. We got the salsa as an appetizer and it was quite excellent. My entree was solid, although there aren't many vegetarian options here. Wonderful location and decor. Pretty great restaurant.

Loved Redhead Bay Cafe. Their food and drinks were amazing. Sausage and biscuits were great and Salmon benedict was good too. Cheese grits were super cheesy and tasty. Definitely worth going back.

I went here for the first time on 2/24/23 it was my friends birthday so we decided to take the drive and check it out. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and if this was based off her I would give 5 starts but unfortunately it’s not. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich with tots and just a few hours later I was vomiting uncontrollably with extreme abdominal pain I ended up going to the drs and it was determined I had food poisoning I don’t not recommend taking the chance and eating the food here !

The food is the best anywhere around. Portions are large, which accounts for pricing, but who doesn't like taking awesome food home. The coffee is so good for breakfast or, for that matter, anytime. Love going to Redhead Bay.
