Our experience was great! Food was yummy! You sure get plenty of it! Food presentation was appealing. Rachel did a great job. She was attentive, upbeat, sweet and a good server. Much needed girls brunch to catch up was a success!

We love this place. We would drive 30 minutes for breakfast here. Lovely and friendly cafe. Great unique coffee and latte, cocktails and food menu. A great place for family. Food is a must try if you are in the area. The southern Benedict is unique too. Biscuit and gravy is so so good with very generous sausage in the tasteful gravy.

The food was amazing and the portions were gigantic. It was definitely worth the trip from Norfolk! We started with the catfish bites. The coating was amazingly crispy and flavorful I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked, crispy and moist, and the waffle was light but still had substance. The rest of my party had the southern Benedict and fried green blt. I capped it all with a cappuccino that was also delicious. We went on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy. Highly recommend.

It was the best brunch I've ever had. I stayed in Virginia Beach for two weeks to visit my aunt. If it is located near my house, I would like to come every day. I visited with my parents and cousin and we were satisfied with all the menus. Especially, I really enjoyed shrimp tacos and avocado toast.

I love this place! Prepare for a gentle wait. Even with that I happily give 5 stars. Our server was so sweet and patient with our breakfast orders and specifics. The food was so tasty and that Little Cedar breakfast hit the spot!

Husband heard about this spot from a work buddy so we decided to grab some breakfast since we were kids free. I looked it up on the way and saw they were supposed to be the best brunch in town. That peaked my curiosity since I love brunch and have frequent quite a few places. I must say, they did not disappoint! From our waitress Arias A. Who was pleasant and efficient, to the owner coming around and checking on us more than once, to the atmosphere, array of food choices, and the tastiness. We will be back with the kids soon. Lol. I definitely recommend to anyone in the area, anyone visiting, and anyone who’s down for a nice scenic ride.

We tried the latte specials for March (Lucky Charms & Samoa… which was delicious). The Big Cedar that I found most intriguing, Shrimp & Grits very tasteful, and the French toast.

Went here for a Saturday brunch.. I live in the Hampton roads area so it ended up being like like an hour and 30 minute commute from the peninsula side. This place is very close to the North Carolina state line if you don't know so prepare for the drive. They have good alcoholic beverages like crushes and mimosas if you are into that. I got the chicken in French toast. To be honest I was not blown away. The French toast was not that good and the chicken was OK. I did enjoy the grits though. What looks like eggs in the picture is actually grits lol. The sliced potatoes were good and served with some onions which I love.The inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious and they have a nice patio as well. I cannot say it's my favorite brunch spot but it does the job. I probably wouldn't go back just because it's so far for me and I was not blown away by the food. Food. I can find mediocre food closer to where I live. The presentation was definitely nice but the food was just OK I have to be honest.

Drove down from Williamsburg to meet friends for brunch and this place was totally worth the hour and a half drive. We arrived around 930 and were seated immediately inside this bright and open space with a cool antler chandelier. Choosing food and cocktails was a challenge as everything on the menu sounded amazing. Our table ordered the loaded tots, biscuits and gravy and traditional French toast. Everything was absolutely amazing!! I did the biscuits and gravy which had eggs, tater tots and bacon on top of the biscuits and gravy. The food was seasoned to absolute perfection!! Like I will happily drive out there again to keep trying more of their menu. And their cocktails? My gin bubbly was delcious and the perfect brunch cocktail, though one was plenty. Friends loved their bloody Mary's and hubby enjoyed his Irish coffee. The chef also stopped by to check on us which was pretty rad of him. Great food and drink, great vibe, and great staff!!

I’m a country girl at heart. I love any excuse to go to the rural areas of Va Beach. Redhead Bay Cafe only adds to my pleasure. Food is always amazing (I love the stuffed French toast and catfish bites). Servers are the best too. Live music on the weekends has me singing along. My only regret is that more people are learning how great this place is and causing the wait times to increase a bit. However, there are plenty of activities (cornhole, chilling by the creek or having a drink at the VIP bar) to keep one occupied during the wait.

Dining out is always an experience and Redhead Bay Cafe is the perfect example. My wife always raved about it and I had an opportunity to dine in with my Kids after a great day at Mackay Island NWR. Everything we had was delicious! We all are very picky on our food because my wife and I cook some gourmet food at home so our tastebuds are always looking for more in any new food or new place we visit.

The food here was beyond my expectations! I had the best egg Benedict perfectly (5 stars for that) cooked with the right sized biscuit and the right amount of hollandaise sauce on it (see my picture). For my side I had the yogurt cup to die for. Never imagined yogurt cup served in such style. Perfect amount of yogurt and perfect amount sweetness.
