Pretty sure I was lied to tonight leading to an experience that was "Something Different".
I was told when ordering online for pick-up, and paying with cash that you don't receive a pick-up notice when your order is ready and that you only receive the notice when paying with card. However, past times (ordered takeout here at least 15 times) using cash and card for pick-up I get the notice.
I order, drive up, and wait. I get a text/email when it says order ready for pick-up and even provides a link to mapped directions.
Tonight nothing, sit in parking lot over an hour until I walk in and check. Foods been ready.
So am I mistaken or was I lied to? I'd like an answer and I'll gladly give five stars because the food is good and even better when it's not cold from sitting.

Excellent place with good craft beer selection, great staff and awesome food! Our waiter Charles was very personable and set us up with some amazing menu choices!! Try their homemade ice cream. They also have a selection of locally made artisan goat cheese. Phenomenal!

My brisket open faced sandwich was either old or just tough. Bloody Mary was the worst I've ever had. The margaritas was made with lemonade and doubt there was any alcohol in it. Not impressed. Waitress was sweet.

Had delicious soft shell crab. Very ample portion as well. My friend had breakfast eggs which I heard is available all day. Service was excellent. Luckily we arrived at noon (on a Saturday) before it got totally packed. Right through the doorway is ice cream, baked goods, and all kinds of things to take home. This place is "back in time" and full of charm. We love coming here and walking around this picturesque town on Urbanna creek. It's beautiful. Pop in the "church" across the street in case it's open. We have met the nicest local people who volunteer and always share local history and such. This time they had some things for sale, and I got a blue crab tea towel, which I love! We really enjoyed talking to the woman we met. Other cute shops right there as well, and a thrift store in the back behind the restaurant.

There was a huge variety, everything we ordered was fresh. My soft shell crab sandwich was $10 and was so amazing. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich for $7 and devoured the whole thing. The atmosphere was warm and unique. They buy local coffee and roast it on the premises! Everything was outstanding!

Loaded onion rings were dried out like they sat under a heat lamp too long. Cheese was hard and meat was dry. The drink that I had was wonderful and the staff very friendly.

Very nice server. Delicious homemade ice cream. Food was different from what we are accustomed to, but good.
Large groups are encouraged to call ahead.

Nice place to enjoy a cold brew after walking the town. Great food, pimento cheese and brisket sandwich is a flavor-bomb😋.
Whiskey and gingerbread ice cream! Loved it!
