Rostov's Coffee & Tea

My favorite place to get coffee. They have a good variety, and the staff is very friendly. You'll pay around $15 a pound but its really fresh, and you don't need to buy a whole pound. Its one of my favorite things to take as gifts when I travel and stay with someone.

My favorite coffee roaster in Richmond! Nice selection of pastries, coffee paraphanalia and giftware for the caffeine junkies in your life. Also makes a nice hostess gift. Limited seating and limited on street parking but worth seeking out. Best quality.

This place is so good that it sources its coffee to local cafés. A really solid cup of coffee for half price of Starbucks. I appreciate that the dark roast is actually very dark, and their lighter roasts have no taste of that dreaded "watered down".
Also a good place for basic teas, which come as loose leaves. Much more worth it for the coffee in my opinion.

Best latte in town, and you don't need to sell a kidney to afford it. This is my go-to place for all things caffeinated. It's not a chain - it's 100% local since forever, and the staff is nice, too. You can watch 'em roasting the coffee beans, if you're into that. Great place.

Not much better recommendation than being a customer for over 25 years. Great selection of high quality coffee roasted on site by master roasters. Yum!

Moved out of Richmond 10 years ago. Still stock up on Rostov's tea whenever we visit or order it from the website. Best tea I've ever had and the prices can't be beat either.

Great coffee shop run by a hands-on owner with a top notch staff. The fact the shop has a robust business after so many decades is a testament to the quality of the shop's service and products.

Not only do they have delicious in-house roasted coffees and a wonderful selection of teas, but Tammy and her whole staff are just the loveliest people. They really care about their customers, and they are always doing something meaningful in the community, and they are the best neighbors!

The "Grande Dame" of Richmond's independent coffee roasters, Rostov's has been roasting beans and providing wonderful coffee to Richmonders for more than 40 years. Tammy, the wonderful scion of Rostov's founder, and her staff offer first rate service- pleasant, affable and neighborly- and an excellent selection of coffees from around the world at an excellent price. Absolutely wonderful! Five (hundred million) stars!!!!!
