Mudhouse Crozet has been a second home to me for as long as I can remember. From studying in its beautiful space on the weekends to finally becoming an employee, I have always appreciated the atmosphere the baristas and higher staff have created! The bakery is always producing new and exciting delicious treats that leave me coming back for more. I love trying the new seasonal syrups which are all made in house. I especially appreciate that the staff members work hard to treat me like a friend, and hold conversations with customers no matter what. Matt and Keylan are two baristas who have blown me away. They are relaxed but professional, and I enjoy all of the drinks they make. Finally, and in my opinion most importantly, Mudhouse Crozet has done a spectacular job of upholding COVID protocols, and I always feel safe when I walk through the door.

By far the best coffee in the Valley! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. The G.M. Lindsey truly is a connoisseur of her craft. Highly recommend the Mudcup! Can't wait to go back again!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Charlottesville and the area surrounding (and I've tried all of them), both for coffee quality and atmosphere. I regularly drive from Charlottesville to Crozet because I like it so much more than the options in town. My only complaint is that sometimes the wifi gets really slow, I think if there are a lot of people connected, which can be challenging if trying to do remote work.

Great local Charlottesville/Crozet coffee chain. Serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee items, as well as breakfast pastries, sandwiches, and other assorted food items during breakfast and throughout the day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. During peak business hours lines can be long, as can wait times. Free wifi is available at the Crozet and Downtown locations, both of which also offer plentiful lounge/seating space.

My favorite coffee shop in a historic building with big windows, a bright, airy feel, delicious coffee and espresso drinks, and great baked goods with healthy options like oatmeal, boiled eggs, power balls too. Kid-friendly and vegan-friendly.

Great small town find. Oliva was working when I came in and she greeted everyone with a smile and cheerful hello. The coffee here is amazing and I will defiantly be back!

Great coffee shop, coffee is delicious and fresh. The beans they use for espresso and Americano have a unique flavor we enjoyed. Their baked good are fresh and delicious as well.

Cozy, expensive prices, baristas make good drinks, but the flavor choices are scanty, and did i mention the prices? They were high before bidenflation, but now...yikes. Only went there because Grit lost power and Greenhouse wasn't open yet.

Really great espresso drinks and baked goods. They even have latte art competitions. The space is a wonderful place to work or to have a conversation. Staff is friendly too.

My family and I were visiting Crozet this past weekend and during our stay we stopped at Mudhouse Coffee for breakfast. The two baristas working behind the counter (one girl and one guy) did not greet us when we came in and only spoke to us after we walked up to the counter and waited for their conversation to end so we could order. The display case only had one breakfast sandwich and 2 quiches left at 10am. My husband took the breakfast sandwich and my parents and I all got a piece of quiche. Both my mom and dad were given cold pieces straight from there cooler. Mine was heated. My mom had to ask twice for hers to be warmed up because each time it was still cold. My dad also had to ask twice but was ignored by the two baristas the second time while they waited on customers although he clearly was standing in line with his quiche in hand. I saw them look at him several times but I guess they were annoyed we kept coming up to have our breakfast warmed to an edible temperature. Who eats cold quiche?! When we were finally able to eat, the quiches had NO flavor! The coffee was good but we would never recommend this place for food. The tables were all dirty, the water was empty and there were no napkins stocked although when we came in the baristas were just standing around talking with plenty of time to restock. We had breakfast the next two days at Greenhouse Coffee just down the street and the coffee, food and staff were amazing!
