Very nice coffee house with great ambiance (historic tiled ceilings and brick interior walls) and good seating with counter bar and tables, with the requisite WiFi connectivity. Very friendly staff willing to talk about all things coffee ☺️☕. Their espresso (I did a straight shot and a 12oz latte) was good - nice crema, some nut and chocolate notes, but with a little bitterness, I was hoping for a bit better.

I stopped by today on a trip to Crozet today for a drink and a snack! I was pleased to see such a cute, quaint, brick building in the pictures I found on Yelp, so I knew I wanted to stop by!
There were large, brightly lit, cases holding tons of goodies and sweets! I noticed some pretty interesting snacks, desserts, and even sandwiches! They all looked SO yummy, and I decided to go with the mini Strawberry Banana Loaf. The loaf was the perfect size, super moist, and I could taste bites of the real fruit inside. Delicious!
To drink I ordered a dirty chai on ice with oat milk which always also delicious and had a great chai flavor! In addition to the crafted beverage, I purchased a Pear Kombucha from a very local place called Blue Ridge Bucha.
Everything was super delicious, the employees were amazingly awesome and efficient, and there is PLENTY of ample room to hang out, or meet up! And even bigger perk is after you enjoy your snack and/or beverage you can walk right across the street and take a picture with awesome artwork!

I've been visiting this coffee shop for a few years now. Stopped by today to work and thought I'd share a little about it. First, today I came here to work. It's a good spot for working or just enjoying a cup of coffee.
Overall, good vibe and good coffee. Staff has always been...they're here to do their job, not be overly friendly or help with your issues. Lol. That's been the same for a while. You almost get used to it. Also, I'm not sure the guest wifi has ever worked. Didn't work today. Didn't work six months ago. I've also gotten used to just expecting to use a mobile hotspot here. It's a good heads up in case you're in the area and wanting to stop in to use the wifi.
Past that, enjoyable to stop for a breakfast sandwhich before a hike. Good for sitting and enjoying.

Great coffee, attentive staff, wonderful atmosphere. Facility and furnishings are very well done. Very relaxing laid back atmosphere. Pastry selection a bit light but what the have is high quality. Wish this business was closer to home but will definitely patronize when back in the area.

Cute spot. Good bakery and coffee. Kids playing piano. Not from this area, did a quick stop and found this charm.

Good location with a large parking lot across the street nearby. The pastries are awesome. I had the egg and spinach croissant and it was the BEST I have had so far from any coffee shop. I had a decaf americano and it was nice and hot with a great taste. The staff was helpful and efficient.

Atmosphere is the best part of the coffee shop, in my opinion, 5 stars for that. If you’re looking for a great study spot, working spot, or place to relax, they did a great job with the atmosphere: chess table, comfortable couches, nice music, tables/chairs, and open floor plan. Though, they could improve on the number of outlets, and their outdoor seating is nearly non-existent. Since there’s little outdoor seating, I’m glad that they enforce their mask policy inside.
The coffee was just ok - hence the 3 stars. I got a lavender latte, which was decent, but not good enough to warrant the price, which tends to skew fairly high here, even for a “regular iced coffee.” They do have a happy hour though on the lavender latte though, which can help with the price if you make it in time. I also got a cold foam cold brew, but the taste of it did not excite me. Could get pretty much the same cold foam cold brew at Starbucks, which I actually would prefer to this one believe it or not. Also, the cold foam at the top was not very thick or flavorful.
I also got an Apple kolache as a pastry, which tasted pretty good, and is quite a unique option as far as coffee shops go, which I appreciated. It’s more of a “sweet bread”, but is not as sweet as a typical pastry would be. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but if you’re there, I’d give it a try (ask for it warmed).
Taken together, if you’re in the Crozet area or if you’re looking for nice working vibes with decent coffee, definitely check it out. If not, I wouldn’t go out of my way for the coffee alone.

As a mother of 3 and wife.... "Missy" is the absolute worst and I am tired of putting up with her attitude and rude tone of voice every SINGLE time I come in to grab my coffee. This past fall there was a young red head man who worked there and he was always kind, listened to my complaints, and knew how to RESPECT customers. Never coming back to this DIRTY coffee shop. Also, the MANAGER Sam vapes in front of children. Disgusting atmosphere, people, and building. Grit is better anyway...

My experience here took place yesterday when I came into order and I experienced terrible customer service from the girl with colored hair and a dirty place of business. My family and I would frequent this spot around the fall and recently began coming back. But not anymore after yesterday. Looks like they got rid of the red head boy and the blonde girl. Now it’s going to shambles…What a shame of Crozet.

Got here at 6:25 and they are supposed to be open for another 5-mins. There are two baristas inside but they’ve locked the door. Update your hours if you aren’t really open to 6:30PM. Don’t just look at me annoyed from the inside.
