Great place to sit and enjoy espresso and pastry
Super nice folks
Good espresso
I had a new experience - Japanese instant ice coffee, or something to that effect...
Brewed the coffee over ice.
I had it with milk. Quite tasty.
I really appreciated that the scone wasn't super sweet. Seems like everyone has a different take on a scone and this was one of the better ones for sure

Coffee drinks aren't always consistent but baristas will remake fairly easily. Lots of Polish breakfast pastries and some sweet options for the morning. Local beer and wine available for later in the day. Ambient noise is low and a good place to sit quietly with your food and drink. Parking can get full in area but still ample spots within a very short walk.

Mud house is a pleasant coffee house with a reasonable selection of treats. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and it's always nice to stop here.

These guys are amazing. Great coffee, great vibes, even better people running the show. Worth stopping by even if you’re not in Crozet❤️

You're not here for the coffee, you're here for the experience of being a cat in a cafe window. Although the coffee is pretty good too. The only thing better than the people watching, limited selection of cafe pastries/ sandwiches, and coffee- is the staff. They seem to rotate faster than one can keep up with, which is a pity.

Joe's has better coffee, Green Room has better sandwiches, the Tea Bazar has die hard regular staff, but Mudhouse of Crozet takes the hill for a welcoming coffee house experience.

Treat those workers well, owners.

This place has the absolute worst customer service I have literally ever experienced. Stood at the counter with my wife no other customers where waiting and we were literally ignored by three young men working, as if we were invisible. The one kid kept yawning and stretching him back. At one point my wife says hello still nothing we are less that a foot from two of them and still nothing. So we say well thank you for nothing great service and they still did not acknowledge us.

VERY EXPENSIVE FOR SUBPAR COFFEE! What is wrong with all of you?! I spent almost $10 for two “large” black coffees and it was disgusting! The coffee was burnt and old, tasted like 7-11 coffee! But for 4 times as much! Tried to add creamer to help the taste but it didn’t help at all. The cup is maybe 16 ounces. That’s not a large! I don’t know how or why people waste money on a place like this. Won’t be coming back again and will recommend to all my millionaire friends, for which I have none. Id rather keep a roof over my head or make a car payment instead.

This coffee shop was awesome. The staff was exceptionally friendly and really appeared passionate about their craft. The barista took good time to explain his methods for different drinks and enjoyed it.

The atmosphere was relaxed, light, comfortable. The espresso was good, the chocolate chip cookie was amazing. Check it out.

My favorite Mudhouse location. The staff and space are lovely, and there is a great variety of sweet and savory sammies, baked goods, and treats.
