I went there for the first time today because I wanted to some coffee from a local place versus my usual Starbucks. I live in VA Beach so I had to look this place up. Took a chance and I was not disappointed. That ladies who assisted me were so lovely. I got the Osprey and it is AMAZING. This place is Veteran- owed too. I got a mug for me (former Navy CS) and my friend who was a BM. However, the container my coffee came in should be a mug too. I don't want to toss it. Please let me know when your establishment makes a mug out of the container and if you all ever open up in VA Beach, specifically the Hilltop area!!! When I'm in the neighborhood, I will DEFINITELY come back!!!

Nice little coffee shop especially at a time and that’s hard to find anymore. The service was friendly and the coffee was delicious.
It is veteran owned some of the names of the drinks have fun military inspired names.
I would definitely recommend this place. The only reason I subtracted one was because they don’t have any food options besides prepackaged chips, and such.

😀😀😀Service is outstanding! I have came in when they are busy, when they are slow and the line moves very quickly regardless. Most of the time I watch people order a complex coffee in front of me and it is done before they are finished paying... For me small black coffee is complete and ready for me before I even have a chance to pay.
Coffee runs strong which is great the taste is always great, the food options while maybe a bit pricey is still worth it in taste so take it as you will.
Basically with this place there is no good reason to go to any national chain brand.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to continue coming for the coffee and staying for the people... And the cars!

Today I stopped by Pale Horse Coffee for the first time per my sister's recommendation. It was amazing! The staff is very friendly, cheerful, and the coffee is to die for! I ordered a decaf bayonet (chocolate, banana, and cinnamon flavoring) with skim milk and the flavor was so delicious. It's hard finding a good decaf at coffee shops but this decaf was great and held its own with the syrups they use!
Their cost is on par with the big chain coffee shops so give this place some love instead! Why not buy local and from a place that roasts their own coffee in the US too?
Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! 😊

I go to the one on Belaire Avenue. It's right across the street where I work. The staff are always friendly and give me exactly what I want. One of the nice young ladies that work there knows me by name and what I order. It tastes good and is preferable to the free coffee I can get in my office.
It's also veteran owned and operated and being from a military family myself I'd prefer to spend my money there and support it. I also bought one of their insulated cups. It wasn't cheap but then again as I look at it, the quality of this tumbler is amazing. Metal and the plastic lid is great. It keeps whatever i put in it cold and or hot depending. Great product and would recommend to anyone to buy.

This is a cool coffee shop! Veteran owned. I went there for the first time yesterday and I was vey impressed! The coffee was fresh and delicious! The staff was amazing and inviting! Im a Starbucks coffee drinker but after visiting this place I may be switching 👀 I will definitely be patronizing this coffee more as I’m a veteran and the coffee is amazing! Veterans supporting other veterans and small businesses.

I don’t really care about the military veteran and patriotism angle, and sadly, I increasingly worry it’s political dog whistling; however, I stopped here because I was traveling and like to seek out local and craft coffee houses. I liked this one.
The staff was very friendly, and they were playing decent rock music instead of the typical coffee house tunes. I was in and out quickly, and while my cold brew may have been a bit pricey, it certainly was tasty. The flavor was a bit on the nutty and fruity end of the spectrum, versus the earthy and cocoa.
I think it’s worth giving a shot for coffee lovers. If I were local, I’d go back, and if I’m ever in the area again, I probably will return.

Staff were nice, the coffee was a bit more on the bitter side for a recommended ” mellow coffee”, and it's just plain noisy in here.

Coffee is very good. I also like their merchandise. And they are pet friendly
