Pale Horse is one of my favorite places for coffee in Hampton roads. Came here and got the Firecracker and as always it was delicious. This location is good, really like the open atmosphere and seems like a great space. Only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is it feels like a different place than the OG location. It’s too polished. There is a ton of empty space that can be used to create a more…veteran vibe? I don’t know it just doesn’t have that same intensity you feel at the original location. I like it, and I would come back for sure. It would just be nice to see them show a bit more of themselves and what made them in the first place. Great coffee and great staff; this is definitely no reflection on them.

First time coming here, I got the bayonet and my wife got the warthog both coffees were great and reasonably priced along with friendly staff.

The location is very convenient if you work and/or live nearby. Out of all the drinks I've tried, the Dirty Chai is the best.

Love the coffee!! Staff remembers me even though I'm there infrequently. They are always nice and helpful. Glad it's open earlier than other coffee shops and not national chain. Pricey for a cup of coffee but it's quality and more money stays in Chesapeake!

Great latte - One of the best I've had. Nice, calm atmosphere with plenty of seating. Looking forward to visiting again

This place has fantastic coffee and exemplary customer service. The baristas are very affable and efficient you can tell they enjoy serving their customers. The drip coffee is very rich and flavorful and the ambience is relaxing.

Veteran owned. A huge variety of flavors and the have a drink that's 4 shots of espresso! I ordered a peanut butter flavored coffee which was delicious. I will try to go back to try more. 2 takes for outdoor seating and plenty of space inside. There's a lot of development/construction going on near by right now.

Great atmosphere and good coffee. Doing the coffee trail and really enjoying finding all the good places.
If you want to sit outside do it in the evening or a cloudy day, the windows reflect alot of heat to the tables out front.

I always try local coffee when I travel. This was amazing! Love that it is veteran owned and operated. As a military kid I always show my dad those things when I see them. Great coffee and nice people!
