Great little coffee shop. They have a nice selection of baked goods with vegan options. Lovely place to get breakfast or lunch. They even have a bunch of gifts like candles, homemade jams and pickles, tea towels. I love their vegan blueberry banana bread.

Super friendly staff, hip crowd and great vibes. The service is wonderful and the drinks are delicious and creative. The Peppermint Mocha warmed me up on a cold day, bringing me back to my time on the islands. Magnum Approved.

Always a pleasant, uplifting experience. I'm not vegan but the vegan treats are some of our favorites! And of course the bacon cheddar biscuits are divine.

Nice ambience. Great cafe au lait coffee ($3.10) with grilled and sliced warm soft bagel sandwich with your choice of fresh ingredients( bagel - 2.25 $ and each ingredient costs 0.50 cents)

My wife and I had great coffee and bagel sandwiches on a busy Sunday morning. I enjoyed a sausage, egg, and cheese on a sesame bagel. She had a bacon, egg, and cheese, on a GLUTEN FREE bagel! We love that they offer quality gluten free bread options as she deals with celiac disease and so many places don't have options for her. As the shop is relatively small, it can get pretty crowded but we were still able to find a seat to enjoy our sandwiches. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our lattes were excellent and are priced competitively. Skip Starbucks and Dunkin' and head to Perk!

If you want a treat, come to Perk! The staff is welcoming and attentive. All of the food is amazing and I love that they accommodate allergies (no nut milks, so no worry about cross contamination). I mostly get coffee here - it's fantastic!

The little gifts are pricey, but high-end, so worth every penny. The coffee is the best in town, and the ONLY place I've found offering the Ube Latte. Mmmm!!

My favorite treat is going to Perk!

If you haven't been to Perk, I'm just going to assume that you don't live within driving distance. Now 8 years old, it is a distinctly cozy neighborhood coffee shop and lunch spot. Inclusive and loving, they have good coffee, good food, and good people working there. I have eaten far more than my share of coconut bars, tiny hand pies, and Friday's frittata, which gets fought over by pretty much everyone because there's never enough no matter how much they make.

I occasionally wish there were more tables, in lieu of the shelves with local goods, but I can't be too upset when I can snag handmade greeting cards and local honey along with my pimento cheese sandwich for lunch to take home.

So go! Try everything. And if you're going on Friday, go early and order ahead.

Had a great lunch sandwich and delicious iced latte here today. The interior is so cute and I love how they support other local businesses. Big thanks to Sarah and the other baristas for their service! I will definitely be stopping by here again.

I really want to like this place, but the quality of both the food and beverages varies so wildly every time I go that I can't justify giving them another chance 😩

Most recent visit was the worst yet, received the sorriest excuse for a bagel I have ever seen, not only given a plain cream cheese instead of what I ordered (works), but it was laughably small and looked like a hotdog bun bent into a vague circular shape. Espresso was weak and sour.

They could benefit from spending less time managing their social media and learning how to turn out consistently good products.

I live in Richmond and I regularly visit for the best oat latte around. Friendly vibe and staff

Update: I’ve made more trips over the past couple of months and I’ve seen a steep decline in quality of food and service. The workers seem very agitated. I corrected my coffee order this morning and the worker laughed and said “Yeah I’ll get to it.” As a past service industry worker, I understand everyone has their days but you expect a certain level of quality and kindness from an establishment you’ve been going to since it’s opened. I’m pretty disappointed and I’m not sure I’ll continue my trips over.
