.Wonderful little neighborhood café in Bon Air. It's probably the only one in the community, but it's still my preferred meeting place for seeing friends. In fact, they're more than happy to let me and my friends set up a board game and sit there binging on their coffee and food while we play - one employee even asked what I was playing and how the game was going. It's a little thing, but feeling welcome in a store you plan to spend the better part of your day in (so long as you keep buying, of course) makes this one easy to recommend to anyone in the neighborhood.

What a cute place! I was waiting on a breakfast catering order from Joe’s Inn and stopped in Perk. I ordered a Vanilla Caramel
Latte. It was great. The staff was friendly and the pasteries and food coming out looked delicious. I’ll have to come by and try some.

Very nice experience here on a late Saturday morning around 1030. Crowd had cleared and service/food was exceptional. Tumeric latte is maybe one of the best things I have ever had. We will definitely return. Thanks, Perk!

Bread and wrap were stale, they forgot our pour over, they served 5 others that came in after we ordered, before even starting our sandwiches, 2 people behind the counter, one didn't help serve at all, l was served potato salad without a utensil to eat it. This place used to be good, what has happened!? One good thing was Lamplighter coffee when we finally got it. We went 2p, not a busy time. Won't be back.

This was an odd experience. I stopped in on a Saturday late morning for a quick coffee & while it was understandably busy, it seemed like such a dour place. Tables were monopolized by single sitters spreading their stuff all over the place (it seemed like a small shop but they had a big toddler play area, which is an interesting choice), people were scowling, and maybe the cashier had been yelled at or something earlier because she looked at me like I was going to threaten her. I had been planning to sit and chill for a bit but I was kind of glad to get out of there.

I've been hearing about this place ever since they opened and finally got the opportunity to visit not long ago. They've got a lovely food menu to choose from (the O'Henry is to die for), and your typical tried-and-true coffee shop menu. I can only speak to the cold brew, but I'd be amazed if the other drinks are any less than great.

Perk has to be one of the friendliest and coziest coffee shop options in Richmond. It is the gem of Bon Air! Always a great selection of drip coffee. The hand pies are delicious and they have a great selection of other bites that always seem to be made with care and pride! All the esspresso drinks one can think of with decaf versions available. On top off all that an amazing play area for littles that makes every visit a fun one for everyone!

I highly recommend Perk! Delicious food and baked goods, drinks made just the way the customer likes them, friendly employees, and very chill atmosphere. I would also like to add that they have shown tremendous response during CoVid - putting their heart and soul into meeting the wants and needs of the customers in the safest way possible. Perk is the kind of place that makes you feel good as soon as you walk in or pull up to the curb in today’s times - like your home away from home.

Stopped here once with my wife and toddler. It reminds me of most small coffee shops. One big plus was they had a small sectioned off area for kids to play in with some toys and books. My kid enjoyed the play area and my wife and I were able to go out and have an actual conversation.

This little coffee shop is a great one to add to the list of places you meet with your friends. The menu is extremely limited (yet unique), as is the physical space (with art peppering the walls). However, I love that there is a place for kids to play that is walled off.
